What's your claim to fame? *lighthearted*

Inspired by an article I've just read online whilst waiting for my train, AIBU to ask...what is your claim to fame? The weaker the claim the funnier, such as "I dated Margaret Thatcher's cousins drama tutor" e.g. But any will do.

I'll go first. I served Gary Cahill (footballer) once as a waitress; he came into the budget restaurant I worked at...and didn't even foot the bill!

A bit of a silly post I know, but the article I read had me giggling. If this post makes at least one person giggle that would be great - I think we're all in need of a laugh right now!

I sold Elaine Smith aka Daphne from neighbours a pair of tights in Selfridges

I was the events manager at a hotel that a MTV Sweet Sixteen was filmed in and was included in the credits. You see me in the background a couple of times. By far the most stressful week of my life!

I had my photo taken with a Spice Girl, when she performed at HMV. I was in my early twenties and utterly starstruck!

My grandads cousin was in a pop group that had a number 1 single a long time ago.

Spent an afternoon with The lead singer of the Spin Doctors in my shared garden. He nearly went indoors to watch Wimbledon with my now husband, but me makeup less , hungover from the night before trying to talk about how I am a (terrible and talentless) singer songwriter was somehow the more exciting offer. I’ve met him again since - lovely guy. He played my friends favourite song and she sang along and later I threw up in the gutter.

Simon le Bon lived up the road from me when we were children and used to turn my skipping rope for me.

Whoever mentioned Linda Lusardi - she is lovely in real life. I used to do her tax. We were pregnant with our first children at the same time. She still looked glamorous - I did not!

I Arrested an old emmerdale actor for being drunk and disorderly!!

I served John Barnes and Johnathan Rhys Myers when I worked in a department store.

I used to love John Barnes and was in awe. Then I waved to him as he left and he saw me. I almost died of embarrassment on the spot

I served Jools Holland in a greengrocers. He was desperate for people to recognise him so we all pretended we didn't.

Nearly trampled by Gordon Brown in parliament as he was charging down the corridor in a temper. He's a lot taller and bigger in real life!

Will have to name change for my Jack Straw story as it's far too outing!

I ended up with Actress Noreen Kershaw's ticket to the opening of Tate Liverpool - which was nice

Ooohhh I once went mildly viral on Twitter for calling Katie Hopkins a carrion crow. She was trying to make political capital out of some tragic incident or other.

He travelled in first class, and my family and I were in cattle class.

I also ended up driving around my local area with Konnie Huq from Blue Peter while out campaigning for her sister Rupa during the 2017 General Election.

Totally bizarre and wonderful.

I served Brendan Gleeson and Stephen Rea in our local supermarket. They were attending a party in a hotel across the road. I also babysat Nicky Byrne from Westlife with his Auntie when we lived on their road.
