Character clothing for babies....what is the point?

DS is 11 months old and is my first child. Someone has bought him a Harry Potter tracksuit and it occurred to me that he has no idea what Harry Potter is and whether he likes it, so then I ended up thinking character clothing on babies is pointless or am I overthinking

Their children, their choice. As long as its clean and fits. Who cares? They only piss, shit or puke all over it...

You can make a thread about whatever you like, but whether light hearted or not, you asked a question and I gave my opinion on it .. which is what threads are for .. so I'm not sure why you're being funny about it. Ah well.

@aToadOnTheWhole I was exactly the same about the ‘all mummy wants is a silent night’ babygrow, I wouldn’t put my baby in it! Also the ones that say ‘Don’t grow up’ are just wrong

@lazylinguist yes and that's my opinion. It's poorly written and not even original. Plenty of diehard superfans out there for you to chat with though.

I'm sure the OP will be glad of your opinion. I expect the supposed lack of literary merit in one of the most beloved children's book series in history will be very useful in deciding whether it's fun to let small children wear clothes with characters on.

I actually like Harry Potter! Just thought it seemed funny to put my son in as he has no idea of it.
