I guess I’m kind of famous, although I hate that word! I was a fairly well known child ‘star’ (ie on TV) in the 80’s and then was on a reality TV show 3 years ago and am recognised quite a lot since. To be honest I almost wish I hadn’t done it....

I was also in brookside (and Grange hill) but I certainly say that makes me famous!

It was a pita missing school to film and having to catch up on school work. I only did it for about a year before I called it quits because TV filming is bloody boring (and miserable).

I got a nice little nest egg off it though for college which was promptly blown on cheap cocktails with my friends the moment I turned 18.

I know you've said you have had 6 best sellers but how many books have you published in total? Are your books part of a series or stand alones? Crime thrillers are my fav lol

I’m not famous now but about 15 years ago I did lots of modelling and a reality tv show. The press where horrendous trying to get stories on me, they even called my school trying to speak to my teachers! You get people come up to you wanting to talk but they want you to talk to them, even if you are clearly busy or trying to catch up with a friend. People got to close and too ‘kissy’. People would ask how I much I earned. The constant ‘I thought models were meant to be pretty.’. Oh and an ex boyfriend sold a story on me. My taste of fame was horrendous & I was glad when my 15 minutes was up.

Not remotely famous. But ended up in the news (not by choice or by my own actions) a good few years ago. The story was picked up on mumsnet and some posters took issue with it, and then there were pages and pages of posts making interesting assumptions about my private life, income, location, children, everything. It was very very strange.

And then of course yesterday’s news, today’s chip wrappers and it all faded off into distant memory. Except every so often I stumble across a poster who was particularly vociferous about it all and it brings it all back.

Very very strange.

And I’m glad it was a week. I couldn’t live under that level of scrutiny on a long term basis.

Wouldn’t say I’m famous as in well known on telly etc, but I’ve got a social media following of over half a million, and in the field I work in I’m well known, recognised at events and places I go to. Even that level is a bit much for me, I don’t think I’d like to be properly famous.

Boyfriend is semi-famous. Actor and musician. It's weird to be with someone who has fans. And when people think they know him. He is gorgeous, but a pain in the ass sometimes. It's weird to think how idealized he is. I mean I love him dearly but he's far from perfect.

My DH is famous in a specific music genre. It’s quite niche and people recognise his artist name much more than his face. He’s worked with some big ish names but it’s all done on computer and emailed back and forth so he’s not actually met them face to face. It also doesn’t make us nearly as much money as it should!!!

I was once one of the main 'characters' in a documentary that was narrated by a very famous person I greatly admire. I met them shortly after and they completely failed to recognise me. It was a sad day

My cousin was quite a well known fashion stylist back in the 90s. She worked with lots of the supermodels and is still in touch with a couple of them. I've never met them though. Her best friend's brother is dating a Hollywood A Lister.

One of DD's school friends fronted a Chanel ad campaign last year and has been on the cover of several glossy magazines. She's a lovely girl and super academic but decided to try modelling for a bit
