@SpookyTheGhoulfriendScarer with my phones weird autocorrect I'm impressed you understood them!

When you give her instructions do you address her directly by stopping what you are doing and looking and talking directly at her? There are some children that I've had in my class that don't realise that the directions I've given the entire class are for them as well, it took me a while to realise but now I'll go over and tell them directly and/or write it on a mini white board to put in front of them and it works miracles. If you've given her a direction whilst your washing up or you are both doing something else it may not have registered with her that you actually want her to do the task. Obviously your Dd can't read yet but I think it's well worth investigating on a laminator and printing off those visual prompts maybe with velcro dots to put on a base so she can look out for landmarks on your journey or when setting a routine at home.

There are a family of Vloggers under "Fathering Autism" on social media, some people feel that the exploit their daughter as they record their daily trials with autism, their frustrations but also the good bits, my impression is that they come from a good place, increasing awareness and raising funds for their daughters care (she has non-verbal autism and global developmental delay) and her specialist school. You can make your own mind up about them but their videos show an interesting view of living with autism and you may find some of their methods and ideas useful.

Be very sparing indeed with ear defenders. They exacerbate noise sensitivities in the medium to long term.
