Why does DH keep a pair of trousers on the kitchen table?

I've just moved a pair of trousers which have been living on the table for the last few days. And bugger me in under 30 minutes a different pair of trousers have appeared on the table. Why??? He always seems to have something like this residing on the table. Is he the only one?

I was thinking 'how random' until I realised there's often a pair of trousers lurking on a chair in my dining room.
Reason being my cold and works outdoors DP wears shorts under trousers so just removes trousers when he gets in to loll about in shorts only.

@Cobumbo

So I asked him why they were there. He said "that was where I was standing when I took them off".
Why did he take his trousers off in the kitchen? Was he hoping for a quick shag while you washed up or something?

My husband always has coats and jumpers on the dining table chairs. It drives me insane. For some reason to hang your coat on the coat rack about 5 steps away can not be done as he needs easy access to said items. I now call it the tablerobe Smile

I thought my DH was odd for 'needing'a chair on his side of the bed for clothes he takes off at night rather than putting them away or in the laundry. The kitchen table is funny! Just take them and hide them every time, he'll soon learn.

@flightsoffancy. Mine is the same with the empty deoderant bottles, which are lined up on his chest of drawers like an exhausted, but fragrant army.
A supreme effort once saw one make it to the kitchen worktop but alas, not quite into the bin just a few inches away
