To ask about Philips Lumea

I’m aware this is AIBU, but posting for for traffic before DD spends £250 on the Philips Lumea.
DD has polycystic ovaries and suffers from thick, dark hair on her legs. She’s tried numerous things but even shaving results in red lumps all over her legs.
She is thinking about investing in a Philips Lumea and would like some opinions and experiences please.
Thanks in advance.

My leg hair is very thick and dark and when I used to shave would grow back like a mans beard stubble same under arms but the hair on my arms wasn’t as thick but plenty of it dark and long...could cry even thinking about those days!!

@kissmysass it's worked best on my pubic hair so I'd sat it's good for thick hair!!

I love mine.

Philips do a 100 day money back guarantee on them, so could always try one for three months and if it doesn't suit her send it back and get a refund.

I have PCOS. Pale skin, dark hair. I used the Lumea to remove hair on my arms, stomach, chin and on my back. It worked a treat. Didn't take too many goes either. Wish I'd bought one years ago. I keep thinking I should do my legs but because I swim everyday I ended up shaving instead. I ramped it up to top level and never had any problems.
