So I’ve ballooned to 17 stone during and after pregnancy. Naturally around 10 stone so I feel horrible. Have been suffering with PND pretty badly and coped silently with binge eating. Decided I need to do something about it and am on day three of low carb.

I’m wondering if anyone could tell me whether judging by the size I am in the pic, I will be left with loads of loose skin on my stomach? Previously when I’ve lost weight it’s only ever been around a stone so it’s really scaring me but would just like to know what I’m in for.

Please be kind because I already know I look disgusting

Thank you x

You don’t look disgusting!

I’ve gone from 17 stone to 10.5. There is some loose skin but it looks ok. I’ve been taking collagen supplements and using cocoa butter moisturiser for about a year. It’s helped. It’s not perfect, but I’d rather be like this than not.

You can do this. Good luck!

That’s really not that bad ! I was expecting something different given your thread title
You’ll be fine , and start some gentle Pilates floor exercise in
Parallel
Just watch YouTube videos , lie on floor and stick with it

I'm much smaller than you but I'm also much older. I don't have excess/loose skin and I've had 2 babies. As you are so young, your skin should be way more elastic than mine so I think you should have a good chance of it contracting nicely. You'd be losing about the same proportion of "baby weight" as me. (Essentially, nearly half your usual pre-baby weight.) GL with the weight loss. Xx
