I'm all in favour of getting a balanced view and not just relying on 'googling it'.
Why not watch a few complete broadcasts of theirs and decide for yourself? Most are about an hour long and cover a variety of topics.
I've watched their news programs and although I don't agree with all their views (everyone has their own opinions right?), the way they scrutinise government figures and what is being reported in the mainstream media can be very enlightening.
Here is what someone said on Quora and I'd tend to agree with this:
"Watched it for a few months, and to be honest have found it very well researched. The presenters do have their own opinions, and they can drift towards the conspiratorial, however I certainly wouldn’t write it off as a ‘conspiracy theorist’ site at all.
They provide their sources, the majority being official government documents, that can be found and verified online, as they are part of the public record, they just seem to be largely ignored by mainstream media.
Interestingly I have found quite a few times, I will first hear of a story on UK Column, to then later see it in the non-independant media, sometimes weeks later. Only difference is when it’s shown later it’s accepted as news, however when it is on UK Column it is considered untrue.
They also show how the same news is reported in different countries from a variety of sources, which I think gives a more well-rounded view of actual events.
For anyone thinking of just writing them off as crackpots, I would suggest maybe watching a couple first, verifying the information yourself, then make your own, informed, opinion."
