These biscuits - danish butter biscuits/cookies. Fuck me they are like crack. Guess how many I have just eaten in one go? Closest one wins a prize (of a MN flower emoji Smile)

PS I have eaten the same amount of them each day for the last three days Blush

PPS if anyone says "this is why we have an obesity crisis" I will say fuck off Grin as I've lost a load of weight and my clothes don't fit and I have a weird hollow thing in my throat/neck which I dislike so I'm a bit sensitive about it Wink

PPPS Don't ever go to Costco

Aw come on, 10 butter biscuits is nothing. They're light as air.

I raise you a entire 10 inch square flapjack.
Or 10 chocolate hobnobs. They'll totally annihilate your bowel habits, them buggers.

IWinAtBeingACookieMonster · 29/09/2020 14:57

Oh how you hurt me with your contemptuous words @ZaraW. And btw, looking at the replies, I think about 50 people actually do care Grin

I like your AIBU style though.

FatCatThinCat · 29/09/2020 15:22

10? You're a lightweight.

Puddlepop · 29/09/2020 15:25

Did you eat any of the ones with currants in?

Ninkanink · 29/09/2020 15:26

@greenlynx

I’ve stopped buying them because they are so addictive! Also about 5 years ago DH’s colleague from Denmark was visiting and said that he never heard about them. Hmm It made me a little bit suspicious as I was keen to have truly authentic Danish experience.
Danish butter cookies are definitely a real Danish thing.

He probably just meant he hadn’t heard of that particular brand.

They’re also not called butter cookies in Danish.

ChocolateCherrybomb · 29/09/2020 15:31

If you have any of the swirl ones left, you can hide them at my house...promise your DH will never find them...pinky swear.

FelicityPike · 29/09/2020 15:35

Enough to turn that tin into a sewing kit/ tin of rubbish?

FelicityPike · 29/09/2020 15:36

Oh it was 10.....lightweight 😂

CSIblonde · 29/09/2020 15:37
 1. I once ate 36 choc Ripple bars in 3 days at my greedy peak. They were a present , a wholesale size box of them.Needless to say ,watch my weight now.
giantangryrooster · 29/09/2020 15:43

Dane here, we don't see them much here, but you can get them.
They are horrible Grin, don't taste like the ones they attempt to look like.

That said my dc can eat a tin between them in no time. I think 10 is an extremely weak attempt.

giantangryrooster · 29/09/2020 15:43

I mean those tins Blush.

That is true, the real thing is much nicer (just like ‘Danish pastries’ in the rest of the world which don’t come close to the real thing).
sarahC40 · 29/09/2020 19:14

Oooh ripple bars (dribbles) i think i have a problem...

Pomegranatepompom · 29/09/2020 19:29

10 hmm it that on par with a box of chocolate fingers? I could easily eat a box of those.

RuudGullitOnAShed · 29/09/2020 19:49
@Havaiana you mean you could eat the 1.8kg in a day? Respect.

DH actually bought these for me and said "I bet you can't leave these until Christmas but save some for me when you open it" (quite rude don't you think)

I was so tempted to take all the biscuits out and hide them in a different tin and leave a few crumbs and all the little paper cases for him to find when he opened it.
Years ago I came downstairs to find the formerly nearly full tin looking like this.

I was young and naive, DH convinced me that our German Shepherd puppy had opened the tin and carefully eaten the biscuits whilst not touching the paper cases.

He only confessed last year when I was reminiscing about what a dexterous clever dog he had been
