I was given it by a friend but she challenged me to find out what it is. It’s a kitchen utensil, I have no idea and I need help!!

Lemon squeezer?

Foggyday124 · 27/09/2020 16:39

Ooooh, egg topper, that sounds interesting!

The bottom part comes away from the large top part, but doesn’t detach completely.

I posted 3 photos, can you see them all?

Wogglers mouli. As used by an old cord wangler.

Foggyday124 · 27/09/2020 16:46

Wow ladies you are powerful!! Thank you! It took me three days of wrong answers before admitting defeat, and you ten mins to find it!!

Thanks OP I know a wogglers mouli when I see one!

0blio · 27/09/2020 16:50

Ugh, this has just brought back memories of my exH who used to drive me mad by tippy tapping the top of a boiled egg several times until it was all cracked, then he'd pick off the tiny pieces one by one. HmmAngry Just fecking slice the bloody thing!

Enjoy your egg topper OP Grin

Zaphodsotherhead · 27/09/2020 16:58

I agree with the wogglers mooli suggestion.

Ideal for astrongling of your wode. Every home should have one.

KetoPenguin · 27/09/2020 17:09

Obviously you should never steal a wogglers mouli for it is against the law. But inheriting one is fine.

Zaphodsotherhead · 27/09/2020 17:11

Ah, a set of woggler's moolis a-hanging on the line, those were the days...

jessstan2 · 27/09/2020 17:12

It's a scoop.

SirGawain · 27/09/2020 17:13

An egg topper! How have I got through life without one?

BrightYellowDaffodil · 27/09/2020 17:24

Sung carefully but dolefully Grin

Justnormajean · 27/09/2020 17:25

Right, that’s DH’s first Christmas present sorted! Every year we strive to buy each other the most useless kitchen gadget, so I think I’ll win Grin

giletrouge · 27/09/2020 17:29

All you sayin' it's a wogglers mouli - stop messin' about! Grin

MrsMoastyToasty · 27/09/2020 17:33

It would go lovely with my butter curler.

alfrew · 27/09/2020 17:38

DH loves it, his favourite gadget. I've usually finished my egg while he faffs.

HaggieMaggie · 27/09/2020 17:41

Wow, I’ve never seen one either and i have every contraption going. BUT if this is an egg topper you can kee it, I have one of those scissor type things that top the egg and I’m sure it takes up much less room.

fairislecable · 27/09/2020 17:44

Keep your hands off others Moolies for it is against the law! Grin

stayathomer · 27/09/2020 18:15

Is it not for weighing out flour etc, so when they ask for a cup to a cup (I'm nearly crying laughing at myself but I am not a baker) you use this? So it's a ... cup?!?!

Foggyday124 · 27/09/2020 18:55

Right, so I need to return the favour by giving a difficult-to-understand-what-the-hell-it-is present?

Can you magic women help me?
