Gove warns this could happen.
And it's only 3 months away.

We have people who will be WFH now - which will make all this planning even more difficult. Rising infections which will impact on any workforce planning.

AIBU to think that this is going to be a major fuck up during the first few months of next year?

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Chaos is not even the start, I imagine.

@CalmYoBadSelf

Gove says this is instructing hauliers to get ready to minimise this. It's shit but was warned about ages ago I can't help thinking that if people had put the energy and talent into making this work that they put into trying to block the referendum result we'd be in a far better place
I cant believe people are still spouting this disingenuous shit.

It is the job of those who wanted this total clusterfuck to sort it out and make it work.

Those who warned about the impending chaos, voted against it and were called traitors for doing so are perfectly within their rights to wash their hands of the whole damn thing.

Except that, of course, it's going to adversely affect us all.

You wanted this. You fucking sort it out.

Brexiters will never accept any responsibility. The latest blame game is aimed at the haulage industry and the EU. It is never their fault. We all warned this would happen, we were constantly dismissed as 'project fear' and even now mad posters like the one above are STILL trying to lay blame anywhere but their own door.

Yes, if only the remianers had worked harder the brexit loving government would have put proper plans in place. It is embarrassing listening to Brexiters.

Our usual suspects have yet to appear on this thread.
I suspect, like some of the numpties on my local Facebook page, they would accuse us of being baiting Remoaners who haven't got over losing.
Because "belief in Britain"tackles traffic jams a treat.

And the Irish FB groups I'm in have two things to say:

  1. Don't get distracted; they are still planning to fuck with GFA; and
  2. Karma's a bitch, isn't it.
