Little girls dressed head to toe in insipid pink

@ScarMatty
I gave birth during lockdown with no health visitors/midwife support to a baby with tongue tie. I understand it is hard but it is a choice to give in and choose formula when there are so many benefits for your tiny newborn baby to persevere. Only a very tiny minority of mothers have a low supply after a few weeks

peonyblossom · 17/09/2020 10:12

People saying their animals are their children/they love them the same as a parent loves their child. I understand that people love their animals, I do (and I've loved my own pets and been very upset when they've died). But an animal is not the same as a child. No one on earth would be as devastated and broken if their pet died as if their child did. It's simply not the same.

"Paw print stickers on cars" what about those family ones too ( tiny stickers of adults and kids usually in pink)
Re calling it tea instead of dinner, it depends where you come from. In the north it's dinner ( lunch) then tea.

I hope you realise how utterly disgusting a view like that is.

Even the term 'give in' is horribly demeaning.

I won't even entertain further conversation with you.

You're clearly deluded.

mamanrose · 17/09/2020 10:20

@ScarMatty
That's ok you don't have to agree and you are welcome to feed your children formula milk. As per the title of the thread - it is not my business Smile

Gancanny · 17/09/2020 10:23

Well done for trying so hard and still finding the time to imply others are lazy for not persevering, have a medal Star

It is formula, not meth. We all choose what works best for our circumstances and it is not acceptable to make other people their choice was wrong simply because it was different to the one you made.

I didn't say it was wrong. Read the title of the thread. This is an opinion I have and you do not have to agree with me
bonsaiii · 17/09/2020 10:27

@mamanrose

So is choosing formula over breast milk in most cases
You're so irritating by the way.

I assume you're a new mother? I think you've got a few shocks in store! Ha!

Nope. It’s a class thing. Working class northerners say dinner and tea. The rest say lunch and dinner. Of course, southerners think all northerners are working class so the assumption is that they all say dinner and tea!!

@bonsaiii Thanks for writing a mean comment because my opinion differs to that of others.

Maybe just have a think about how you've come across. A few people have said it, so the common denominator is you.

I apologise for calling you irritating. Even though it's true, I should have kept my opinion to myself.

Definitely a bit rich since she started the thread Grin

sashh · 17/09/2020 10:36

People who spend so much time not doing things at work that they could have done their job with less effort.

One of my neighbour's carers (I'm on a quiet cul de sac and my desk faces her house) the carer's have a uniform of a blue tunic, most ear trousers with it, this one wears wet look leggings with sparkles and I think it is unprofessional.

Enko · 17/09/2020 10:37

Her later comments were just horrible. No need

@bonsaiii I said a simple statement on a thread for people to state what annoys them and was attacked for it.

You haven't been attacked. Don't be silly.

People have called you out for being awful about mothers that ff.

Have your opinions, and share on here but I advise you to keep it to yourself in real life if you want any friends.

So because she started the thread she should write mean personal comments to posters?

bonsaiii · 17/09/2020 10:42

@mamanrose I'm just going to ask, are you very young? Your overuse of 'mean' is making me question.

OP posts:
mamanrose · 17/09/2020 10:42

@bonsaiii I've been called 'disgusting' and told I have a sad life for stating a simple opinion. And yes I do keep this opinion to myself in real life as many people I know formula feed!

mamanrose · 17/09/2020 10:44
@mamanrose I'm just going to ask, are you very young? Your overuse of 'mean' is making me question.
I am bilingual. No need to try to belittle me.

OchonAgusOchonO · 17/09/2020 10:50

@mamanrose - So because she started the thread she should write mean personal comments to posters?

No. I meant it was a bit rich her making nasty personal comments to posters when she started the thread and invited opinions. If she didn't want opinions she disagreed with, she shouldn't have started the thread or should have been clear in her first post.

VeggieSausageRoll · 17/09/2020 10:51

@sapnupuas

My neighbours closing their curtains randomly for an hour or so during the day (usually about now). Why? Why are they doing this?
Sex games
TheQueef · 17/09/2020 10:52

Well now we've all put our crayons away can we get this thread back on track?

Number six have two pints festering and it's 11am fucking philistines.
