Little girls dressed head to toe in insipid pink

OP posts:
iloveeverykindofcat · 16/09/2020 16:55

It's kind of weirder to say a dog is adopted though. That implies other people gave birth to theirs.

GotOutOfBedOnTheWrongSide · 16/09/2020 16:56

Theres a woman at work that licks her yoghurt pot lid. It really really winds me up.

vanillandhoney · 16/09/2020 16:57

Topless men in supermarkets.
The word "hun" - especially when said by a total stranger.
People who stand obliviously in the middle of the pavement.
Likewise groups who insist on walking 3-4 abreast, forcing you to walk in the street to get past them.

stoneysongs · 16/09/2020 16:57

People who not only use "sweetheart" but say it quickly so that it sounds like "swede art"

scaryfrogfish · 16/09/2020 16:57

@sapnupuas

My neighbours closing their curtains randomly for an hour or so during the day (usually about now). Why? Why are they doing this?
Hi neighbour! It's usually because I go for a run and then have a shower afterwards so draw my curtains to save you from the view.

Also DH and I sometimes have an afternoon shag. Wink

ZoeTurtle · 16/09/2020 16:58

People self-publishing books. It kind of affects me because, as a reader, it floods the e-book retailers with reams of shit that I have to swim through to find real books. But my irritation is disproportionate.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 16/09/2020 16:58

I hate Debbie and Carl too. The bastards.
Not me (because I’m full of sunshine and fucking rainbows), but dh hates suvs, not because of the environmental damage, but because they are fat. He calls them fat cars. I don’t laugh.

GotOutOfBedOnTheWrongSide · 16/09/2020 16:59

Topless men in supermarkets

Yes this!!! In fact as soon as the sun is out where I live, theres topless men everywhere it drives me mad and I dont know why 😂😂

HereForTheTinsel · 16/09/2020 17:00

The very large mat that my neighbor washed (I think) and is still drying (one week later) hanging over my fence outside. It makes my house look as scruffy as hers, but in keeping up with being British I will say nothing but loudly complain to myself in the shower.

GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 16/09/2020 17:01

Litter. Babies' nappies, empty hamburger containers, half-full Cola bottles: this has been the summer of selfish wankers leaving litter all over the countryside.

People whose FB pages are nothing but endless shares of right-wing lunacy, left-wing lunacy or New Age idiocy, sometimes interspersed with boasts about their DC. I snooze them.

Gender reveal parties. Cake smashes.

Parents who lie to their DC. 'Of course I'll take you when I go on holiday...' and then ditch the kid with granny and saunter off to Bali/Ibiza/Florida.

Shopkinsdoll · 16/09/2020 17:02

Loud Performance parenting
People not signaling especially when they see you sitting waiting.
Both parents and lots of children in the supermarket.
People trying to act posh
All car adverts
Silly girly singing voices
My neighbour with his hot tub parties

BruceAndNosh · 16/09/2020 17:03

People that park in the drop off / pick up zone of my local supermarket.
I mean park and go into the store, not just park up and wait
I never use it.
They are not in my way.

But it really annoys me

Todaywewilldobetter · 16/09/2020 17:04

Words on walls
Photos of babies in buckets with flowers
Photos of kids with dummies
Prosecco or gin related gifts
Calling it "Home And Bargain"
Saying duller than dish water- it's DITCHwater

Blueraccoon · 16/09/2020 17:04

@OverTheRubicon

When strangers on the tube are wearing jackets that still have the little X at the back that holds together the back flap, which you're meant to unpick after buying it.

So incredibly unimportant to niggle me so much. I might even be posting here in the hope that it makes somebody check the back of their jacket and fix it 😳

Rubicon, if you carried a small pair of thread clippers in your pocket on a busy tube you could probably snip the X without them noticing. I’m sure you’d find it very satisfying Grin
BaylisAndHardon · 16/09/2020 17:04

People who dress their baby girls in those idiotic bow headbands

Shopkinsdoll · 16/09/2020 17:06

Double barrel names so annoying and unnecessary

ImANosyNeighbour · 16/09/2020 17:06

What have Debbie and Carl been up to this lunchtime? I think a few of us are desperate to know now.

ScarMatty · 16/09/2020 17:06

People who brake before they indicate

Henio · 16/09/2020 17:08

@sapnupuas

Karl and Debs indulge in afternoon delights every single day?

Animals.

Hahaha
JoeGrundyWasMyRoleModel · 16/09/2020 17:11

Men with neck beards (where the hair is all under the chin).

Men wearing calf length "shorts".

People who drive all the way round large roundabouts in the outside lane.

Neighbours who use a small car, that's kept on their drive, to reserve parking space on the road outside their house for their big car.

Men with comb overs (I'm looking at you Trump).

TheQueef · 16/09/2020 17:12

@ImANosyNeighbour

What have Debbie and Carl been up to this lunchtime? I think a few of us are desperate to know now.
It's all quiet on the Carl front. Sad it doesn't bode well.

Also Mrs Carl (Not Debs, I didn't know about debs until today, doesn't surprise me) is back on shift, optimum time for some Carl related antics.
Incidentally Mrs Carl has a very silly name that irritates me. Lovely woman and lovely name but she doesn't suit it.

vanillandhoney · 16/09/2020 17:12

Drivers who beep their horns instead of getting out and knocking for people.
Taxis who stop in the middle of the road to pick people up 'cause they can't be arsed to pull in and park, therefore blocking your way.
People who don't seem to understand how roundabouts work.

kingdomcapers · 16/09/2020 17:13

Vaguebooking- & all the "you ok hun? PM me" replies
People that have loud phone calls in supermarkets, "they've no bread. Well where is it usually? They must've moved it. What do you want instead?"

gretagreengrapes · 16/09/2020 17:13

The woman in my office who speaks and eats so loudly.

The80sweregreat · 16/09/2020 17:14

Neighbours closing curtains during the day ! I bet it's ' after noon 'rumpy pumpy' or just watching tv in bed.
I hate seeing my neighbours front garden as they have an old wicker chair with flowers growing on it in pots and what not it doesn't look nice or cute but rather sad and unkempt. It winds me up for no reason at all.
