Blondiney · 16/09/2020 16:34

@Lululemming

Everybody who gets an adult dog says they have "rescued" them, who are you? Fireman Sam
I always say mine rescued me.
roarfeckingroarr · 16/09/2020 16:35

Babies with their ears pierced.

vanillandhoney · 16/09/2020 16:35

Oh, I have more.

Our neighbours standing out front smoking and drinking.
People listening to their music too loudly out of shit headphones.
When the TV plays different channels on different volumes.
When DH uses my car and moves my seat and mirrors!

Sunbird24 · 16/09/2020 16:36

Tipping Point contestants who don’t know the best time to press the button...

AdoptAdaptImprove · 16/09/2020 16:37

People who lean their forearms on the handle of the supermarket trolley and proceed to shuffle round the shop at snail’s pace, hunched over the trolley like a surreptitious wanker.

roarfeckingroarr · 16/09/2020 16:38

Babies in head bands
People who use Sleepyheads
Terms like "lil man" "little lady" "little miss"
Babies with pierced ears
People who talk about "gender" reveals
People who have gender sex reveal parties
People who post images of these parties online
That men can't share the strains of pregnancy

You can't tell I'm expecting a baby in the next couple of weeks can you 😁

roarfeckingroarr · 16/09/2020 16:39

@MrsFoggy

People taking children into pubs
Do you mind if it's babes in arms during the day, that are swiftly moved if they cry?

Because if so, I might need to rethink how I spend my mat leave Grin

*And when the NHS changes it's advice back to 4 months you'll be even more enraged...
*
This rumour has been doing the rounds for years. I kept hearing it when my eldest was born and she's nearly five now. It's rubbish.

I asked our GP about it, and she said they'll never change it because whatever the NHS say, people will do it earlier like it's some sort of showy off developmental milestone. So if they say 4 months, people will start at 3 because their baby is 'so hungry' just like they do now when they start at 4/5 months instead of 6 for no good reason (only good reason is on the advice of a medical professional!).

@Lululemming

Everybody who gets an adult dog says they have "rescued" them, who are you? Fireman Sam
unless the dog is a gift from someone, what else do you call a rescue dog exactly?
jessstan2 · 16/09/2020 16:43

Tattoos.

FrankieChips · 16/09/2020 16:45

Make up artists on Instagram who pour products directly on their skin rather than into their hands. It's not the way it's supposed to be used!
Also the way they pose at the end of their video
Lip fillers. All these girls making themselves look absurd. It's really screwing with young girls heads!

MargotsBumpyNight · 16/09/2020 16:45

Couple Facebook pages. Like Debbie N Carl.

One has clearly cheated.

yellowsunrise · 16/09/2020 16:46

@sapnupuas

My neighbours closing their curtains randomly for an hour or so during the day (usually about now). Why? Why are they doing this?
We do this. Usually it is because the sunshine coming in the window at a particular time of day bounces off the glass coffee table and goes right in your eyes.
Roseivy44 · 16/09/2020 16:47

I thought of more:

‘Wedmin’ - wedding admin

Over the top social media announcements about getting engaged, like they are royalty!
Middle aged (or anyone older than a teenager really!) women with REALLY long hair - I hate it and I don’t know why!

Particularly if it’s grey!

Instagram stories of ‘cheers’ with drinks (usually Prosecco)

Over the top cutesy home accessories like ‘LOVE’ spelled out in drinks coasters, ‘Mr and Mrs and of course Live, Laugh, Love

Kids with snotty noses

God I am miserable Envy

MarieIVanArkleStinks · 16/09/2020 16:47

Passive aggression
Constant boastfulness
Inconsiderate parking
Rising intonation
Overpowering synthetic scent
Dangling modifiers
People who emit loud noise ALL the time. Why oh why is there always someone in my railway carriage who insists on laughing like Salacious Crumb?

PurplePansy05 · 16/09/2020 16:47

Lululeming that's so ridiculous, I have a rescue dog... he came from a pet rescue centre and was rescued by their volunteers, otherwise he'd have been euthanised. What else would you call him? Can't believe someone takes an issue with that lol 😂

MarieIVanArkleStinks · 16/09/2020 16:47

Oh, and weddings.

TommyShelby · 16/09/2020 16:48

People who seem to think that pregnant women loose their mind the second they become pregnant. This is even worse if the person is a bloke and sees fit to bestow his almighty man wisdom. I’m sorry Sir, but where do you keep your birth canal!?! Don’t start telling me what I can and can’t do!? Angry

Also, anyone who says hun. Anyone calls me hun, my ears are conveniently switched off!

EggyPegg · 16/09/2020 16:48

Yes to so so so many of these.

Men who walk around with no top on the minute the sun comes out. IT'S NEVER THAT HOT.

MrsMayo · 16/09/2020 16:49

People posting on SM or talking IRL about every single workout they do in great depth. Was worse in lockdown

I really need to start exercising again so that's why I'm being such a bitch.

MrsMayo · 16/09/2020 16:50

Also, anyone who says hun. Anyone calls me hun, my ears are conveniently switched off!

Also, Sweeheart

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 16/09/2020 16:53

Parents who let their kids drink tea out of a bottle

Parents who don’t clothe their kids appropriately for the weather - especially babies

Parents who don’t buy the cosy toes for the pram and use a manky trailing on the floor blanket

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 16/09/2020 16:54

“Wedmin” “Dadmin”
