Priti Patel has just confirmed that tests are available for everyone. Good news. Effectively people have been lying that they are unable to get tests. Is no one scrutinising the kids of this government. Nhs staff shortages already due to lack of testing. School kids and parents anxious as well.

Priti Patel is an utterly shameless liar.

I saw the interview. It made my blood boil because my 5 year old daughter had a fever on Friday and we couldn’t get a test, and she’s basically blaming me for not being able to secure one?

I’m not British (been living here for 10 years) and it is quite fascinating to me how British politicians never admits their faults. It’s always the public’s misunderstanding or someone else’s fault?

I wish the interviewers had more balls and actually hold the MP's responsible for their words and actions rather then pussy footing around them. We know full well that the Government are not meeting anywhere near the targets they have already set, let alone the impossible target of 500,000 test in December.

As usual the Government did not think ahead to realise that by allowing people to travel abroad, opening pubs & restaurants and then opening school would mean a rise in cases. And prepare in advance for the extra test which will be needed. And of course they are once again playing catch up, rather then being ahead of the game.
