To ask if any of you have this Jellycat?

A couple of days ago, I won a Jellycat on eBay that I’ve been searching for yet the sale was cancelled after payment due to another buyer offering more.

I am desperately seeking this Jellycat in large size (36cm head to toe) for a young relative. I don’t want to give away too many details as I feel this post is already identifying as I’ve been posting everywhere I can - I have name changed too.

They sell for a lot of money on eBay and I would be willing to pay via PayPal goods and services if anyone had one they would consider selling.

I would really appreciate it! This Jellycat is retired and can no longer be purchased.

So sorry everyone! I had another busy day yesterday, a new term at university is starting and I’ve had a lot to do! Smile

@FarFromTheMaddeningToddler
Thank you for the suggestion! I’ve found a couple of other jellycats that members of the Facebook page were searching for for little ones in my local garden centre so I’ll definitely check them out!

@Someaddedsugar
Thank you so much for checking, it’s really appreciated! As marmite said I think it’s twice a year although I find it quite confusing as the spring collection seems to come out in November!

@Laney79
Thank you! Smile

@eveningfalls
I can’t remember your specific post but I will go back and check it. I’m really sorry if I didn’t acknowledge it, I didn’t mean to cause offence.

@roundthehorn
Thank you so much for looking but it’s not quite right. eBay and other selling sites can be very confusing at times and I completely appreciate some of the images I’ve posted to show sizes can add to that confusion.

@Fuckingfuckssake @PinkJam
Thank you so much for your lovely comments, they mean a lot. Lots of lovely people on here are evidently going out of their way at times and I want to acknowledge that. Even a quick google search takes effort and I’m very grateful Smile

@mrspurdey
I have tried Jeremy’s home store, yes Smile Unfortunately they couldn’t help but I’ve heard great things about them!

I don’t know if we are allowed to mention Facebook groups and stuff on here (sorry if not Mumsnet!!) but I am a member of a Facebook group called Family Lockdown tips and ideas. It’s got over a million members and is used for all sorts of things. Last week someone posted about an old blanket her daughter loved and had been lost.. and someone had one. Could be worth a shout? I hope you find the bunny 🤞🏻

MuddlingMackem · 19/09/2020 15:08

Just read this whole thread hoping your last post would be that you'd found it.

I don't think this shop was mentioned by anyone else although a few have mentioned shops in Whitby, but came up on a search on Marketplace for me, so might be worth a shot:

Apologies if this has already been suggested (I've not read through all the replies). There is a group on FB called jellycat buy and sell UK. They are very helpful to people looking for specific Jellycats and lots of people selling on there too. Good luck.

Mrsemcgregor · 19/09/2020 16:20

Just adding our local stockist link to the many you already have!

www.emporiumgiftshop.co.uk/

They have a wall of jellycat so might be worth emailing them?

Also Waterstones stock them, not sure if you’ve tried them yet?
Good luck

LadyFlumpalot · 19/09/2020 17:51

Thank you for posting this thread OP! I don't have the one you are after but I have realised on reading through that I do have a small blue bashful bunny which the kids have been letting the cat play with and maul!

Rescue and clean that right up!

BluebellJellycat · 19/09/2020 19:32

@BabloHoney
Thank you! Smile

@MuddlingMackem
Thank you so much, I’ll have a look now!

@Shufflebumnessie
Thank you, I’m a member Smile

@Mrsemcgregor
Thank you so much, I’ll check them out! I’ve tried multiple stores and sent an email to Waterstones but no reply yet.

@LadyFlumpalot
Lots of people give them to their dogs Grin bet you’d be gutted if you later found out that certain colour sells for £££

This is on the Facebook marketplace - I think the one at the end is normal blue, but thought I'd post just in case.

LadyFlumpalot · 19/09/2020 19:55

Definitely a bluebell one in this bundle. Unfortunately it doesn't say sizes.

BuntyCollocks · 19/09/2020 20:02

I just checked for you, we have bluebell, but I’m sure he’s a medium (he is daddy rabbit) - about 12 inches.

BluebellJellycat · 19/09/2020 20:51

@LadyFlumpalot
Thank you! I think they’re both normal blue but I’ll ask the seller on eBay!

@BuntyCollocks
Medium is definitely most common and they’re about 12 inches. I wouldn’t ask you to sell daddy rabbit if he is already being loved anyway but thank you so much for looking Smile

@BluebellJellycat ^^!

BluebellJellycat · 21/09/2020 20:33

@Paleninteresting
Thank you Smile It’s the correct colour but I think that looks like a medium

ShaunaTheSheep · 21/09/2020 21:13

I saw large jelly cats For sale in the Chatsworth House stables gift shop on Sunday including a large bunny but looked to be grey. But worth asking them?

FloatingAlien · 21/09/2020 21:40

This thread is fascinating! I've heard of jellycats but never had one. I'm totally invested and planning on searching every shop I can think of in South Wales that may have one!

FloatingAlien · 21/09/2020 21:41

OP - If we were to see one in a charity shop/car boot sale/ marketplace what's a good price to pay for it?

Paleninteresting · 21/09/2020 22:21

@BluebellJellycat such a shame. She is in perfect condition too. My 12 year old is rubbing her hands at the prospect of putting her six unloved rabbits on eBay. Still leaves another four I fiercely guarded.

BluebellJellycat · 21/09/2020 22:27

@ShaunaTheSheep
I’ll try them, thank you!

@FloatingAlien
I’d happily pay £40-50 or more if in good condition. I imagine true ‘collectors’ would potentially pay £100+ as I think they were around £30-32 when new.

@Paleninteresting
If she has colours that are retired she’d likely make a lot of money from them, the bunnies really do sell!

maisiedaisy64 · 21/09/2020 22:37

Have you tried here? www.bearessentials.ie/ Based in Ireland but stocks Jelly Cats and also operates a teddy bear’s hospital...not showing on their website but could be well worth an email!

MamaToldMeNotTo · 21/09/2020 23:01

Have you tried here @BluebellJellycat? www.etsy.com/nz/listing/706187040/personalised-jellycat-blue-bashful-bunny?variation0=1419940683
They're based in the UK & say they have it in large so might be worth a shot.

BluebellJellycat · 22/09/2020 12:43

@maisiedaisy64
I haven’t tried them yet but certainly will, thank you Smile

@MamaToldMeNotTo
That’s a blue that is pictured but it’s definitely worth a try, thank you!

I think I’ll have to wait and get lucky on eBay now, I’m not sure there’s any others out there

OP posts:
Trentmum · 24/09/2020 16:36

I’ve just found a large on a store called ‘formomstore’ based in California. It’s $32. They won’t ship internationally but is there a USA based Mumsnetter out there who could take delivery then ship to you? Apologies if this is ultimately a dead end...
