To ask if any of you have this Jellycat?

A couple of days ago, I won a Jellycat on eBay that I’ve been searching for yet the sale was cancelled after payment due to another buyer offering more.

I am desperately seeking this Jellycat in large size (36cm head to toe) for a young relative. I don’t want to give away too many details as I feel this post is already identifying as I’ve been posting everywhere I can - I have name changed too.

They sell for a lot of money on eBay and I would be willing to pay via PayPal goods and services if anyone had one they would consider selling.

I would really appreciate it! This Jellycat is retired and can no longer be purchased.

Just seen that the other buyer has received the bundle and left a good review for the seller and it’s just another kick in the teeth. I bought it fairly, it’s so shit! Sad

I’ve read the whole thread and wanted to help.

postmarkonline.co.uk/pages/pop-into-postmark

At one point the Greenwich store had loads of big jelly cat bunnies in the window. Also, if you look closely in one of the photos you can see lots of Jellycat toys.
Unfortunately they don’t list them but contacting the stores, they may help.

BluebellJellycat · 12/09/2020 23:01

@Dandelionrarrrr
Thank you so much, I’ve dropped them an email! if I don’t get a reply in a few days I’ll try calling Smile

I ran another little search for you again, OP, on eBay again. Still no luck. I was even thinking maybe we could stretch one of the 11inch ones and make it look bigger so the recipient doesn't notice, or undo the seams and put more stuffing in so it looks bigger! 😂

It's interesting how different countries have different current and discontinued stock and even entirely different models, for example I'd never seen this striped one:

www.ebay.es/itm/Jellycat-Special-Edition-Frankie-Bashful-Bunny-Striped-Blue-Grey-Rabbit-Soft-Toy/303649808717?hash=item46b2f0614d:g:9zIAAOSwKaVfMZBc

I only found it because I know the word for 'rabbit' is conejo in Spanish and the word for 'blue' is azul. The striped one is cute!

I also found an online toy shop here in North Carolina that has Bashful bunny in Saffron which I've never seen anywhere else.

Anyway, I think another might crop up on eBay at some point, I will periodically keep looking on USA eBay for you.

Oh one other thing, people can be stupid or blind, or both. I found a medium bluebell on eBay that was not listed as blue. They had it down as purple. It was definitely bluebell. So it might also be worth trying a bit of jiggery-pokery with eBay search terms.

RainbowRaine · 12/09/2020 23:15

I have PM you

BluebellJellycat · 12/09/2020 23:19

@RainbowRaine
Thank you! I’ll try that number you suggested!

@FirTree01
I really appreciate it! They’re often up less than 5 minutes if they’re a half decent price Sad
That bunny is special edition Frankie. They made lots of them and funnily enough, the rare special editions seem much easier to find than this bloody one!

OP posts:
BluebellJellycat · 12/09/2020 23:20

Lots of different special editions, not lots of different Frankies

OP posts:
FirTree01 · 12/09/2020 23:31

@BluebellJellycat - right, I get the special edition thing now.

We should get jobs working for Jellycat, we know all there is to know about every bloody bunny they ever made. Hmm

It's just the damn sizing, the medium sized bluebells aren't difficult at all.

Still, the purple one is gorgeous, and I don't think all hope is lost for a bluebell, it's just a case of keep checking. Smile

BluebellJellycat · 12/09/2020 23:36

@FirTree01
They’re special edition as they’re between a small and a medium. I have a damaged one that was bought for £8 (usually over £60!) because pink is my colour and it was cute! Some of them go for a LOT of money.

I’m praying we do find a large bluebell but feeling less hopeful as time goes on

OP posts:
BluebellJellycat · 12/09/2020 23:40

Stripy is special edition, right one is a huge, pink floral a large and navy with starry ears a medium.
Pepsi can for scale. The coral on the left is a small.

Not sure if this is any use to anyone that might see one/own one they’re willing to sell

My daughter has one of these but it is well loved so will not be able to sell- we bought it from a shop in the new Forrest a few years back called House of Burley Gift Shop so May be worth seeing if they have any stock?

BluebellJellycat · 12/09/2020 23:54

@GrandOldDuchess
Thank you! I’ve sent them a message

OP posts:
skittycat · 13/09/2020 00:06

I don't own one of these unfortunately, but I'll be passing a couple of shops tomorrow that I know sell them so I'll bob in to have a look 😊

BluebellJellycat · 13/09/2020 00:14

@skittycat
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it Smile it’s quite unlikely they’ll have one but I guess you never know until you try and no where else seems to have one so I wonder where they all are!

It’s so strange they were stocked at John Lewis, such a huge store, and no one seems to have one! This has been such a rollercoaster of a thread from feeling devastated due to the eBay let down, thinking I had one from John Lewis, finding out I didn’t, a comment saying someone had one (still not heard back so fingers crossed?), then 2 in the wrong size came along at once (thank you so much for trying!!) to now.

OP posts:
Littlepaws18 · 13/09/2020 00:16

The white company sell them in all sizes and colours.

BluebellJellycat · 13/09/2020 00:22

@Littlepaws18
Thank you. I know the white company stock bunnies in a small selection of colours but they won’t have this colour unfortunately as it’s retired. I’m not sure it’s a colour they ever sold.

Thanks for commenting though Smile

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303541080711 is this it?

BluebellJellycat · 13/09/2020 00:41

@RevolutionRadio
Unfortunately not as the item name says it’s a medium/12” but thank you for looking. There definitely aren’t on UK eBay Smile

OP posts:
BluebellJellycat · 13/09/2020 00:54

Thanks again everyone!
I really appreciate every message about stockists, posts wishing me luck and those checking to see I they have one.

I think it’s looking quite unlikely at this point but I appreciate the effort either way!

RevolutionRadio · 13/09/2020 01:07

There is a shop in Whitby Annas children's wear on Facebook they sell these toys. Might be worth contacting to see if they have any older versions.

BluebellJellycat · 13/09/2020 01:12

@RevolutionRadio
Thank you! Their stock looked to be recent on their Facebook page but I have dropped them a message anyway.
I did see a child’s jumper that a love with farm animals on... perfect except I don’t have a child Grin

BluebellJellycat · 13/09/2020 01:33

I really must sleep now! Just sent off about 30 extra emails to stockists using the Jellycat stockist finder. It only gives shops within about 10 miles so I’m having to pick random places to find more obscure shops.

Fingers crossed somewhere comes back with a positive response but I’m losing hope Sad

SOMEONE out there must have one they’re willing to part with for an £30/40/50/£60. I feel exhausted, like crying because I can’t find it for them and I’ve spent weeks and lost hours to eBay.

To get as close a having BOUGHT the item Sad it’s taken over my life and I posted here as a last resort thinking someone would have one. I feel so grateful for all of the support as I’ve said but gutted we’ve not found one yet!

I saw this on Instagram, you could always ask if they would like to sell? www.instagram.com/p/Byu6BhUhBjX/?igshid=1ob61jr11laqd
