Teenage DD is obsessed with the stuff - Impulse, So, whatever's on offer in Home Bargains.

IT STINKS.

She left for school 30 minutes ago and I can still smell the stuff and feel it in the back of my throat. Yuk. This phase will pass, right?

And I know it could be worse, it could be a DS and Lynx.

Both of my adult children, whilst teens, would cocoon themselves in foul cheap scent as they were body conscious and had only pocket money to pay for it.
It will pass.

I just want to know how to convince adult women that cloying coconut fragrance is chokingly repugnant.

@Gothamgirl1970

Yes it’s rank but BO would be worse although probably unlikely in a girl
You've not been around many teenage girls, have you?

It is less common these days because it's generally expected that everybody showers daily, but there are still some oblivious to puberty, some with mental health issues, some with SEN and some in abject poverty or whose parents still believe that anything more than a Sunday night bath is unhealthy, indecent or an attempt to attract the opposite sex.

Just as there are with boys.

However, due to the number of people who have asthma, allergies or just normal noses offended by the thick fug of cheap shit body sprays, some schools actually ban perfumes. It's much nicer in those schools, as even the worst BO rarely triggers an asthma attack.

Looking on the positive side, with so many having to keep windows open all term as part of their risk assessments, at least there's some ventilation for a change...

I am convinced this is a good part of the reason why BIL has never had a girlfriend.
