Without angry headlines in the Daily Mail, columns and tweets by Piers Morgan and Laurence Fox, comments by Boris Johnson, no angry arguments on Twitter, on social media, on morning TV programmes etc

Just something that unites most people as a good thing, something that is wrong and needs changing.

Because it's just division at the moment. Division, tribes, culture wars etc.

Can anyone think of anything?

Agree with pp who said CAMHS re-looked at and made fit for purpose.
I would also like less pressure on children with SATS and the never ending assessments. Children need to be allowed to enjoy childhood as care free as possible in my opinion. I think many expectations put on them through schools force them to grow up too soon. I really think it’s playing a significant part in exacerbating children’s mental health issues. These days we’ve even got homework for nursery school children. I find it ridiculous personally.

@Sanjii that’s good and I’d support a system like that here. But I think it would be controversial because so many absent fathers benefit massively from the ‘system’ here - and men’s voices tend to be the loudest.

For every non compliant father there is a mother and child so opinion will already be 2:1

When parents split automatic rights should be 50/50

Flexible working

Huge investment in health care and education, but expecting families to pay a fee/for books etc.. Current schools are over-crowded and that's terrible, but many families would take education more seriously if they didn't believe it was "free" and they were entitled to free childcare Hmm or "free" NHS.

Longer school holidays and longer school days
Keep (and improve) academic learning but increase outdoor and sport activities in the extra hours

A 4 days week for all workers.

Remove the Brexit nonsense and the restrictions that are coming with it.

Mandatory pockets on dresses is an excellent one.

Also agree with comments about I.oroving CAMHS - both competence and access.
