He's fallen asleep before me . Had a couple of glasses of wine each and he's snoring his head off . I hear others complaining and sleeping in separate rooms etc , but I find it a really soothing sound . He's sleeping peacefully after a hard week at work , I'm Mumsnetting , all's good . Anyone else feel happy to hear snoring ?

It depends. His usual snoring is fine, but if he's drunk or unwell then it's a window rattling lumber saw and I can't stand it. I wake him up and tell him to shut the fuck up (unless he's ill, then I go to the spare room)

You are mad quite frankly.

Crimblecrumble1990 Has yours been tested for sleep apnea? The snorting sounds like it could be. If not, he should as the long term prognosis without treatment is pretty grim. My life changed 100% for the better once my husband’s apnea was controlled. No more snoring and it is utter bliss.

Oh my god just thinking about my partner’s snoring makes me rage !! Ugh it’s the worst most annoying sounds up there with his farting.

Horsemad · 16/08/2020 07:31

I prefer my cats' snoring to my DH's. Theirs is cute and sweet, his is most definitely not!

I'm convinced he has sleep apnoea but he refuses to see the GP.

Most nights I have to give him a nudge to tell him to stop. Actually though, last night he woke me saying I was snoring! Grin
In my defence I have a bit of a cold and had had a large G&T before bed. Smile
