They’re currently languishing in a vase of water and still going strong.

Any wonderful ideas?

I know about the parchment pressing but is there anything else you could share.

Mine were supposed to go on DH's Grandma's grave but someone stole them off the gift table at the reception

Got some of mine turned into a paper weight but had to book it all in advance, it was really expensive and I don't think they didn't that good a job, feels very light not like a real paperweight and the design they did wasn't great, but I'd never get rid of it and I do treasure it (though was really disappointed at first!)

Yes mine were sent off and an amazing lady dried and put them all back together they literally look as good as new in a lovely box frame.

Both my bouquets (wedding 1 and 2) went on to my uni friend’s grave who died before she had the chance to be a bride.

hiredandsqueak · 09/08/2020 13:59

I put mine on my mother's grave. We married in the church where she had been buried and so it seemed fitting. Incidentally my sisters did the same with their flowers.

BwanaMakubwa · 09/08/2020 13:59

Like many others, mine went on a grave. My dh's best friend's grave who died of cancer the year before we married.

IceniSky · 09/08/2020 14:02

I gave them to my nan during the evening and someone captured the moment on a photo. Both my grandparents looked so emotional, and had their arms wrapped around me.

When my Grandmother died I had them remade and put them in her grave with the photo.

I gave them to my stepmum, would have been my mum but she was going on holiday a couple of days after Smile It was only in March, was a brilliant day Grin

My husband and I made my paper flowers for our wedding. It was good to make it so personal. I have mine on display.

My friend has hers on display in the bathroom.. not sure if I am meant to be offended 😂 she said people do comment on them though.

SurreyHillsGirl · 09/08/2020 14:46

My bouquet was beautiful, lots of ivory avalanche roses, not sure what happened to it though. DH bought me exactly the same bouquet for our anniversary a few weeks ago ❤️ Bought back some wonderful memories Smile

Serena1977 · 09/08/2020 14:47

Mine were put on my Dad's grave the day after by my Mum.

LutherRalph1 · 09/08/2020 14:48

I dried mine and cast them in resin hearts! Gave them to my Mum and mother in law and kept one

SerenDippitty · 09/08/2020 14:49

My bouquet was put on my father's grave.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 09/08/2020 14:52

I chucked mine away. It was horrible and I was embarrassed to hold them.

It wasn’t at all what I’d asked for, and when they arrived it was too late to get a replacement. I couldn’t wait to lose them after the church.

I kept and dried DH’s button hole as it was lovely, but sadly my flowers were awful.

Imanessexgirlgetmeoutofhere · 09/08/2020 14:53

My dad died 9 months before my wedding. I put my bouquet with his headstone

Toothsil · 09/08/2020 14:53

I gave mine to my granny, just before we left our reception. She was absolutely delighted and enjoyed the flowers until they died. It would also have been nice to have done something with them but seeing how much pleasure she got from it was lovely, and I've got lots of photos of i
