To ask your prediction on how things will be exactly one year from today?

Like many I’m feeling very lost and overwhelmed with the whole COVID situation, particularly the ‘never-ending’ feeling (although obviously very thankful to be alive and well at the same time!). Nobody seems to know what the future may have in store so I’m very interested to hear anyone’s opinions or feelings on what life will be like this time next year?

I'm hoping next year will be better. No restrictions, businesses open etc. Life back to normal for most. Hopefully we won't have a recession, really don't want that at all as I plan to buy a bigger house soon and don't want the risk of losing my job (although being in public sector I am pretty secure but not everyone is). I think the government will try their best to not have a recession, it doesn't exactly help them if there is one.

I think we may have a short lockdown over winter, because that's when viruses thrive. But it will end in January and no more after that.

I keep hearing that this is a man made virus and instead of becoming milder over time it will become more deadly. So I’m kind of hoping that’s not true 🤦🏻‍♀️

Where are you hearing that?

I'm sure there was a programme on the radio recently explaining that it was very unlikely to be man made because of the similarities and differences to the natural version (my very non scientific explanation)
