Does anyone else get this?

Since having DS, every time I have a bath I seem to err... leak water afterwards.

Normal? Grin

Well I hope it's normal because it has always happened to me, even without birth/DC.

Somethingkindaoooo · 31/07/2020 21:56

Surely what goes up must come down?

2020wasShocking · 31/07/2020 22:02

I’ve had two DC youngest 8 and I never bothered with pelvic floors 🤭

I love a bath. I don’t love getting up, getting dry and feeling water dribble down my legs 😯 I know it’s bath water as I never ever leak ‘wee’, even if I sneeze etc...

But I do wonder how in gods name does it sit inside my ‘self’? Does that mean I’ve got a bucket fa$ny? Hmm

@Branleuse

Normal. Worst bit is when you dont realise till you lift your leg up to dry your fanny and it all pours out on the floor
😂😂😂

What I don't get is that it sometimes doesn't make an appearance until a while later, like it's hiding until you are sitting on a cream sofa or something.

Bravefarts · 31/07/2020 22:40

Caitlin Moran I think called this the 'after bath'. Happened to me my whole life, until I got a prolapse, now doesn't as much.

bingowingsmcgee · 31/07/2020 22:44

Always had it. Pelvic floor fine. So annoying when you get into clean pj's after a nice bath and then gush all over the bloody things!

bingowingsmcgee · 31/07/2020 22:44

It probably happens according to the shape or position of your vagina

CountFosco · 31/07/2020 22:58

Does anyone agree with Katy Bowman? Are there any studies or anything to back up her claims?

Since all she seems to be recommending is that people do squats regularly I don't think she's doing too much harm.

Osirus · 31/07/2020 23:00

I’ve had a child but I’ve never had this issue.

Chocoholic12 · 31/07/2020 23:09

Normal OP. I thought I'd become incontinent 🙈

JammyHands · 31/07/2020 23:11

I had this and mentioned it to my GP who wasn’t bothered.

SlimGin · 31/07/2020 23:12

I had it before and after DC. Maybe more so now but it's marginal. Yes no idea why it has to wait until your dry and dressed, it's like it builds up then all releases at once?
Odd.

Namechange8471 · 31/07/2020 23:12

I’ve got a strong pelvic floor and I always get this after swimming 😂

MooseBeTimeForSummer · 31/07/2020 23:23

I’m sure I’ve seen it referred to as bucket fanny on here.

I get it. Along with javelin arse.
