SO has returned from the kitchen with, wait for it, digestive biscuts covered in butter and cheese.
And he says I'm weird because I like baked beans and cheese, stired in, on jacket potato.

Who is being unreasonable

AIBU = Digestives and cheese is rank
YANBU = Baked beans and cheese is rank

Butter on the potato. Beans on the side. Cheese on top of the beans. Allows for controlled mixing.

Don't be ridiculous. It's obscene amounts of butter, then beans on top then cheese.

You are both totally reasonable (for your carb/cheese combos) and totally unreasonable for dissing each other's delicious creations!

I would not like either, but of course,lots of people like some different mixed up food combinations.There are no rules.

Haven't had it for years but I used to love cheese on buttered digestives.

On the other hand I've never understood the love for cheesy beans. I will happily eat baked beans, but on toast, but not with cheese and not on baked potatoes.

Good thing it's nearly lunchtime, all this talk of cheese and beans!

Cheese and beans toastie made in the breville. Be careful though - come out hotter than the sun on the inside.

Both I confess to being sceptical years gone by about digestives and cheese , then I threw caution to the wind and had those hovis bread cheese crackers , which turns out are a gateway cracker to digestives with cheese.

I have never looked back.

And everyone knows jacket potato toppings are as personal as a Sunday dinner , tells you more about the person than a CV so no rules (except chips....chips on a Sunday dinner should be grounds for incarceration)

But better is plain chocolate digestive spread with cream cheese
I wonder how this would work with the marmite cream cheese I've got? I also like the cheesecake suggestion - digestives, cream cheese and jam. Mmm
