My last thread was deleted because I was not being "civil" enough, I don't actually think it is a subject there is much room for civility in, but I will try!

My last post was to try and answer some questions about me. Here they are

I think I have answered these.

No I am not a strict vegetarian. I don't buy milk or dairy, but eat it in other peoples houses,

no I don't fly,

foodmiles, well, I take them into consideration, but they are not the only indicator of the environmental impact of food. Tomatoes grown in a heated greenhouse 2 miles away might have more environmental impact than tomatoes grown outside in Spain, and flown in.

I have 2 adopted children, 1 is an adult no longer living at home I currently have 3 foster children, but that is likely to change this week

Yes I have a pet, it came with one of the adopted children.

No I don't smoke

Naive question here as relatively new here but wouldn’t it be very easy for a moderator to be able to confirm whether OP did actually post "Contraception failure. Not that it's any of your business Mr/s Snoopy"
Not really sure it is their job but given they took down her previous thread (as per OP’s initial post) then maybe?

Davros · 28/07/2020 18:56

You've inspired me, I think I'm going to try to drive more, none of that pesky Shanks's Pony

SimonJT · 28/07/2020 18:56

I was Mr Snoopy 😁

myrtleWilson · 28/07/2020 18:56

the trafficked children project is a sub set of your main job as a secondary science teacher? No wonder you have to work so many hours OP!

vodkaredbullgirl · 28/07/2020 18:57

fgs so you keep saying

wasn't me

Mydogisthebestest · 28/07/2020 18:57

You didn’t say safety reasons though. You specifically only said physical disability or roads that were unsafe.

Because I asked on the last thread too.

DeltaFlyer · 28/07/2020 18:58

When is the next honours list? We can nominate op
Kelcat9494 · 28/07/2020 18:58

OPs starting to sound like shaggy "it wasn't me"

OlympicProcrastinator · 28/07/2020 18:58

I know how OP gets around so quickly. She’s always running because her pants are on fire.

mosquitofeast · 28/07/2020 18:59

@GinDaddyRedux

Haha *@mosquitofeast* STOP gaslighting people!!

If someone says they remember you posting something, and add a SCREENSHOT of it....!

I mean...seriously?

What screen shot? The only screen shot |I have seen is the other thread I posted talking about working on a project to support freed slave children back into education

Reckon this thread should be nominated for the classics list. . .

vodkaredbullgirl · 28/07/2020 19:00

I knew i hear it from somewhere, thanks Kelcat.

CatkinToadflax · 28/07/2020 19:04

I’ve used my car far less since March as I’ve been on the Gov Coronavirus HQ’s official shielding list (severe asthma - I feel very special!). But as I start going out again I’ll use my car. I have to as public transport is highly unlikely to be safe currently. But I won’t go too far in it - is that OK with you OP? Hmm Confused

vodkaredbullgirl · 28/07/2020 19:06

Right best get in my car to go to work, is that ok.

Mothermorph · 28/07/2020 19:06

I thought the previous post when the OP was furious that 50% of car journeys were less than 2 miles might be trolling because I found it hard to believe anyone could be that superior and condescending.....but here they are back again ....but I'm still not convinced. (It might be a katie hopkins alter ego, maybe???)

mosquitofeast · 28/07/2020 19:07

well, I only wanted to ask, civilly, for people to not jump into cars by default, when it is unnecessary, and impacts hugely on everyone 's quality of life, now and in the future.

I know there are many times when driving is necessary, and I am not arguing with that. But the statistics this morning revealed that half of all journeys are less then 2 miles, and most of those are simple not necessary.

For those that think they have to drive because they are busy, or have children, I have described how busy I am, and told you something about my children, so I hope a couple of people at least will think again.

For those of you that got me confused with another poster on another thread, I don't know who that poster was, so can't make any comment on them, except to say they were not me!

I think I have responded to all questions now, so I will leave it . Car ownership and freedom to drive is not sustainable, and will not be freely available for much linger, at least 3 UK cities are going to ban driving in the near future. Still, it would be nice if traffic could be reduced voluntarily, before it has to become enforced

Pretty please mumsnet don't remove this thread, I really need a good laugh and I missed the previous ones that the OP didn't start.

Parker231 · 28/07/2020 19:09

Everyone leads different lives. Two miles is too far to walk when you are busy and don’t have enough time. There isn’t a right or wrong to apply to everyone.

AldiAisleofCrap · 28/07/2020 19:17

@mosquitofeast you posted this on this thread My last thread was deleted because I was not being "civil" enough, I don't actually think it is a subject there is much room for civility in, but I will try!
And now you are saying the thread that was deleted about the woman concerned about driving pollution on her dog and five dc was not you?
Do you you have an equally batshit concerned twin?

OlympicProcrastinator · 28/07/2020 19:17

Nobody but you is confused or has a bad memory OP.

ZeldalovesLink · 28/07/2020 19:17

You have got me confused with someone else.

But multiple posters are saying otherwise OP?

Anyway, it’s clear the jig is up. Several people have asked how you’re fitting 80 hours of work, a ten mile daily walk, fostering five children, owning a dog, walking to the shops, housework, errands, eating, sleeping and showering into the same week we all have and you haven’t got a response because it’s obviously bald falsehood.

If you’d done your sums in advance you might have been able to come up with more believable numbers. Better luck for next time you want to name change and post a goady thread.

GinDaddyRedux · 28/07/2020 19:18

Ahaha

jassa090 · 28/07/2020 19:18

I usually drive the 1.8km round trip to the nearest shop for essential supplies and always drive the 2.5km trip to the gym (before it shut). I could walk/cycle for both but I have a car and I want to save the time.

OP, perhaps you should spend your time asking cows to stop farting. You might have a bit more luck with them.

GinDaddyRedux · 28/07/2020 19:19

Exactly this. Got caught out... then ran out.
