6.40am is an acceptable time for a 4yo to get up?

My DD just turned 4. She is always asleep by 7pm, sometimes earlier.

She's up for the day at 6.40am. My parents think this is far too early and don't believe me when I say many of her peers get up even earlier especially in the summer months.

They're also aghast that we use a gro clock and keep asking when we will 'wean her off it'.

I was also of the anytime after 6am was fine brigade. DD had slept 11 hours by that point.
Any risings before 5.30 (or earlier) were treated swiftly/firmly with a ‘it’s still nighttime’.
You get parents on here letting their wains dictate them getting up at 4am.

Seems fine to me. This sounds like the sort of thing my parents would say, although I reckon we did get up early. Mind you, according to my mother all three of us slept 12 hours through from birth and only needing feeding every four hours. Hmm

Hold the down arrow on the gro clock till a little cross comes up. Locked.
