So NASA have created a new star sign, meaning many have changed. What do you think?

Previous Libra now a Virgo here. I've never really been one for reading horoscopes etc but I am quite gutted, I liked being a Libra

To ask if you agree with your new star sign?

For Christ's sake, nobody's horoscope has changed.

NoWordForFluffy · 15/07/2020 10:55

I've not paid attention to my star sign since school. I couldn't even tell you my children's star signs as I've not committed them to memory!

GrumpyHoonMain · 15/07/2020 10:57

Mine hasn’t changed

Branleuse · 15/07/2020 11:00

this has upset me. Im not a fucking gemini

lazylinguist · 15/07/2020 11:04

I dont believe in it, but as a young impressionable tween reading teen magazines and studying horoscope pages, i always read both and felt i was more like gemini (date leaving me in cancer was very close to gemini) so think its funny that my instinct when i was younger was right!

Exactly the same here! I was a Scorpio and am now a Libra. Obviously it's all a total and utter load of old bollocks, but I have always fitted with the traits of a Libra not a Scorpio. Grin

Chesneyhawkes1 · 15/07/2020 11:04

I've stayed a Leo

PhilSwagielka · 15/07/2020 11:05

NASA have nothing to do with astrology. No-one's changing their star signs.

/still a Taurus, mooooo

verybritishproblems · 15/07/2020 11:12

NASA have nothing to do with astrology. No-one's changing their star signs.

I know, it’s just silly publicity Grin Never confuse astronomy and astrology, one is science, the other is... well, who knows Grin

PhoenixReincarnated · 15/07/2020 11:12

I'm Libran and always will be. Anyone who wants to change me to Virgo can sod off.

IdblowJonSnow · 15/07/2020 11:16

I'm nothing like an Aries! Keeping my old one, stubborn bull here. Grin

donnatellme · 15/07/2020 11:17

Glad its a hoax! I've made all my decisions based around my sign, i'd be gutted if it changed

gotothecooler · 15/07/2020 11:19

I don't understand why this is being presented as new? It's old and it's bollocks.

diddl · 15/07/2020 11:21

Hasn't changed for me!

Immigrantsong · 15/07/2020 11:24

I remember this being released years ago, so not new.

I am Leo even with the new info and definitely could never be any other sign, so accurate even with this.

WanderingMilly · 15/07/2020 11:25

Absolute load of nonsense, I don't follow this shit.

Having said that, the new sign makes me the same sign as my sister - no way, we are poles apart in personality and everything. And, despite not believing any of it, I do have all the traits of my so-called 'previous' sign....

BikeRunSki · 15/07/2020 11:28

Ooh,I’m a Libra! That actually suits my personality better than my previous Scorpio.

dontdisturbmenow · 15/07/2020 11:28

However much I don't fully ascribe to astrology, certainly not when it comes to horoscope and the like, I do believe there are traits people exhibit that are definitely specific to their sign.

Going on everyone in my family, I would say they definitely represent the traits associated with the old classification and not at all the new ones, especially me!

BikeRunSki · 15/07/2020 11:28

‘‘Tis all nonsense though

PotholeParadise · 15/07/2020 11:29

A story about Ophiuchus comes out every so often. What's worrying is that there is plenty else of importance to report.

Winniewonka · 15/07/2020 11:31

Many moons ago my child attended a youth discussion group as a teenager. The leaders asked everyone what they thought about star signs and if they thought they were accurate. All the teenagers thought they were so the leaders asked for their signs individually and read out what it said for the sign that day from a newspaper.
Without exception every teenager agreed with their own reading until the leaders dispelled the myth by saying they had read out a different star sign message for everyone of them. So if you were Aries, they had read out the message for Capricorn etc......

olivo · 15/07/2020 11:32

Surely, if you want to believe, you are what you were born under at the time? And the new one would only be a thing for people born this year and beyond?

Komacho · 15/07/2020 11:33

www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-trending-37419182

The idea that NASA changed the star signs is bullshit, just like astrology.

OfTheNight · 15/07/2020 11:33

I’m still a Pisces. I do fit the traits really well so I’m glad. DP is now supposed to be a Sagittarius but he definitely fits with Capricorn more. We’re by no means avid followers but we do find astrology interesting. DP now has a cob on.

ICanTuckMyBoobsInMyPockets · 15/07/2020 11:35

You haven't got a new star sign though have you.

Your sign applies to the date you were born.
This only applies to new births.

If you believe in this nonsense anyway.
