You know, the ones you bellow out in private when noones looking, the ones you 'shouldn't' like because you are too young, too old, too hip, too old fashioned...
I'm 34 and bloody 'love islands in the stream' by Dolly Parton. I mean, I love it. I know every word. It gets turned up in the car...Blush tell me your best worst

McAlmont and Butler Yes is on an “anthems of the 90’s” album I have in the car. Never listen to any of the other songs anymore but sometimes when I’m on my own in the car I have to put Yes on and sing it really loudly and really badly

She Used to be Mine by Sara Barallies from Waitress.
If you Wanna by the Vaccines
If I can dream by Elvis Presley

Ponoka7 · 04/07/2020 20:27

The ones that i never want to be discovered are, the Robson and Jerome version of 'somethings got a hold of my heart' and 'One Night in Bangcock'. I'm not as fussed about anyone hearing, 'You picked a fine time to leave me Lucille', 'the gambler' 'Make me sway', 'At last' and 'what a difference a day makes', but I'd rather they didn't.

Country Roads by John Denver

stayingaliveisawayoflife · 04/07/2020 20:37

I can actually sing a bit so I live to belt them out and my class are quite used to me and my TA have a sing song as we do just start singing from random sentences. I was talking to my children about BLM and how they are my hope for the future and they can heal the world and make it a better place...of we went into full Michael Jackson mode!!!

stayingaliveisawayoflife · 04/07/2020 20:39

@itsnotterrysitsmine you have the same list as me!!! I love all of those. Through a bit of Celine Dion in as well though!

Also partial to a bit of Cher & Tina Turner.

Don't Stop Me Now by Queen.

Actually anything and everything by Queen...

babycornplease · 04/07/2020 20:47

James - laid... complete with head thrown back for the 'eeeeeeeee eeee' bits and the thumping of the steering wheel for the 'you think you're so pretty' bit.

I make sure my car windows are shut when I drive and this plays... otherwise pretty sure I'd have a cult following of the neighbourhood cats...

HeretoThereandBackAgain · 04/07/2020 20:52

Radio Gaga by Queen, Simply the Best by Tina Turner, anything by Heart, like a Prayer by Madonna, Run to You by Bryan Adams.
