We need some good revenge stories to lift our spirits after reading about all the random acts of nastinesses on here www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/3953798-to-ask-if-a-stranger-has-ever-been-nasty-to-you?msgid=97985195

@QueenCT

A stranger behind me at the petrol station. Mansplaining how I should use the pump at the very front so other cars could pull up behind. And shouting at me to pull forwards. I explained several times the pump wasn't usable. Paid and moved forward. He ignored the pump I used, pulled to the first one and shouted "this is the one you should have used" and a load of stuff about female drivers Only to then see for himself the out of order sign on it and he couldn't reverse back as there was a car behind him so he had to queue again
Love this one!
LittleRa · 03/07/2020 08:50

@Monty27 did you read @jackdaw141 second post, immediately after the first one? It explains a bit more about the situation.

LittleRa · 03/07/2020 08:51

@QueenCT Brilliant!

Nottherealslimshady · 03/07/2020 08:51

@Monty27 @jackdaw141 did two consecutive posts, the first stating what the nasty stranger did, the second what revenge they got. Nasty stranger stealing money, revenge to find out everything about them.

@Monty27 is the nasty stranger and the revenge is that they can now see they didn't read this thread properly, got it all wrong and must feel like a right dickhead! Grin

Bishybarnybee · 03/07/2020 08:56

To be fair, I read the first post and thought WTF, then read the second post and it made sense. I can see why Monty got the wrong end of the stick.

CluelessBaker · 03/07/2020 08:57

Being smug about this selling of non existent stock.
@CluelessBaker
Have I got the wrong end of the stick or what?
To me that activity is amoral

Yes, you have rather got the wrong end of the stick. Might be a good opportunity for you to apologise for your ‘stupid fucker’ comment Grin

MagentaRocks · 03/07/2020 08:58

@Bishybarnybee

To be fair, I read the first post and thought WTF, then read the second post and it made sense. I can see why Monty got the wrong end of the stick.
But telling someone to read the whole thread and calling them a nasty fucker when it turns out they haven’t read the thread is a bit ironic!
MagentaRocks · 03/07/2020 08:58

Sorry meant stupid fucker.

Snarkastic · 03/07/2020 08:59

monty can you explain clearly what you think has happened and why you're calling posters "stupid fuckers"?

I need to plot some minor revenge myself so this thread is useful Grin

Snarkastic · 03/07/2020 09:00

Oops, lots of cross- posts

Doggodogington · 03/07/2020 09:00

I did the opposite to @Monty27 and read the second post (and not the first) and wondered wtf jackdaw was on about. I tend to skim read through the posts and miss stuff. It was only later I went back to see if anything would make it make sense.

@Monty27 just post a blushing face and move on. It happens. You just have to hope your weren't too vitriolic in your responses... or name change, that can be good! Smile

CuriousaboutSamphire · 03/07/2020 09:02

Don't worry @jackdaw141 It'll move on...

CluelessBaker · 03/07/2020 09:03

@jackdaw141you can report them and ask mumsnet to remove them but it’s really @Monty27 who has derailed the thread, not you!

Yaottie · 03/07/2020 09:03

Can we stop going on about monty and jackdaw now, you're all ruining the thread.

Monty misunderstood and jackdaw exposed fraudsters

Doggodogington · 03/07/2020 09:06

When I was younger I worked in MacDonalds and came across loads of rude impatient customers. I was quite shy and not the type to speak up for myself so I’d made me feel better to leave out part of their order. A missing chips here or a nugget short there. Obviously worked better when they were taking their food away to eat. Used to make me feel content thinking about them going to dip their chip in a non existent pot of bbq sauce.

AlexisCarringtonColbyDexter · 03/07/2020 09:09

Horrible next door neighbours, racist (made racist comments to my h etc), used to gather in the back garden and swear their heads off whilst smoking weed (all in front of little kids etc), called our Tesco delivery driver a "cunt" for parking over their drive for 5 minutes to unload our groceries, played loud techno music literally all day long.

Anyway, the following happened:

The mum of the group got laid off from the factory where she worked, didnt earn enough to stay in the property (it was a 4 bed fairly large house) ended up having to move into a grotty tiny flat in a really unpleasant part of town.
The son lost his job, his wife left him, and he's now single with limited access to his own kids whilst his ex swans about town with a new bloke every week.

We now have nice neighbours in their old house. I'm not "happy" that any of that stuff happened to them. However, I do think its karma- not in a woo woo sense but simply that if you act like a dick, it will have repercussions in ALL areas of your life. They reaped the consequences of the fact they were horrible people.

Washyourhands48 · 03/07/2020 09:11

These stories are even more depressing than the original thread. Contacting workplaces? How fucking ridiculous.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 03/07/2020 09:13

I would have laughed out loud at that, Robin! Grin

Magicra84 · 03/07/2020 09:19

@jackdaw141 you sound unhinged. That's not clever or funny. Don't fuck with people's lives or businesses like that.

crossstitchingnana · 03/07/2020 09:24

Most of these are funny. A couple are disturbing (dog shit on cars??!!)

3ismylot · 03/07/2020 09:27

When I worked for a currency exchange bureau 4 years ago, I had a women stomp up to my booth and rudely say 'Deutschmarks' I was a little confused and said sorry, what was that? and she angrily replied 'Deutschmarks- Germany, do you not know your job'. By this point her attitude was pissing me off so I sarcastically inquired if it had been a while since she had travelled, she scowled at me and said that she travelled to Germany regularly and asked why I mentioned it. I pointed out that Germany had been using Euros for over a decade! she went bright red and was overly pleasant for the rest of the transaction Grin
Not exactly revenge but always good when you can bring a rude customer down with their own stupidity!
