To ask for help finding these coasters

I feel ridiculous posting this but here goes...
My sister has bought her first flat. Big milestone and I asked if she'd like a gift for it. She has asked for coasters that are silent when the cup hits them (so not glass, slate etc) and don't stick to the cup either. And are a bit "special". Cork apparently, while quiet, isn't very special.
This feels like the epitome of a first world problem but I would like to try and get her what she has asked for. As a practical person whom luxury is wasted on I am at a loss, and googling sound proof coasters brings up ugly silicone ones.
Any suggestions very welcome please.

I have some my mom made that are quilted in one side and faux leather on the other.

Searching faux leather quilted coasters brings up all kinds of wonderful options, not just faux leather and quilted.

I've had leather, rubber, alcantara and felt placemats/coasters and they all fit the bill. I would say about the felt ones that they stain very easily because they soak up any liquids. We only use ours 3 times a year for Christmas/New Year and I have had to throw a few away because they were manky. Even though we've had them for a decade, that's only the equivalent of a month of everyday use.

We also had some paper thin, soft plastic (maybe polypropylene) clear ones that a friend bought in Sweden. They were great because they were pretty much invisible.

So far the winner is @MashedPotatoBrainz with the retro leather... also the some of the most expensive...Wink

I fear these might be "noisy" though.

Silicon ones are definitely the quietest and dont break so greta for outdoors

We have cat ones and ones like vinyl records...but assume not 'special' enough for your sister diva

Thank you for the help. You made it relatively painless for me. She opted for the retro leather ones in the end so I have ordered the exact colours she asked for and consider it a job well done. Thank you!

I’ve always wanted to get some of those pressed paper ones you get in hotels. If you buy a fancy holder and plenty of refills they might be a good gift.

I like these from LIND DNA

They come in lots of colours.
