AIBU to have a cup of tea?

It's 30 degrees
I'm sweating
We're all sweating and nearly naked

Would it be wrong to have a cup of tea.

Apparently drinking hot drinks in hot weather cools you down more effectively than drinking cold drinks

Tea is more cooling long term than ice-cold drinks, it warms you internally which increases that rate of heat loss from your body and hence you feel cooler.

I would contact the police to be honest rather than the Dvla. It will most likely be dealt with quicker and if this gentleman is anything like my FIL letters from the DVLA may well be ignored.

It's never unreasonable to drink tea. I also find it refreshing.

37⁰ here, currently on my first cuppa of the day. There is no wrong time to have a cup of tea.

I live in a very hot country (40ish degrees for the past month or so) and drink tea all the time. It actually cools you down as it makes you sweat (and I can't function without a cup of tea!!)

Tea is my go-to drink at any time.
