To think you can’t/tell if these lips have fillers? Photo attached

On the back of another thread, do you think you can say yes these lips have fillers or no they don’t?

Answers on a postcard....

Lip filler. Lovely result, good Cupid’s bow (which would have been present before filler and probably enhanced). Certainly doesn’t scream lip filler, just nice lips however I have injected lip filler to many people in my time working as a nurse in Harley Street. I may be wrong as I can’t palpate the lips through the internet 😁 (palpation is the only real way to tell!)

You can tell if you look closely as there are the telltale signs on the upper lip.

They are very well done though, much nicer than most and you wouldn't immediately see them and clock them.

Definitely fillers. Not a bad job and look fairly natural at first glance.

There are some tells though, the upper lip has that odd puffy ridge at the top, and the closed mouth pics have what I call the "filler gap" where the lips no longer meet and there is a kind of hole in the middle.

Yes, these definately look filled. It seems to usually be quite obvious to everyone else, but not the people who've had it done themselves? Like some sort of body dysmorphoria? What they see in the mirror, doesn't match what we see when we look at them?

They look like they have been filled to me because the bottom lip has outsized the top, due to the bottom lip being too big ‘normal’ skin is now on the bottom lip so you can see the typical two tone lip some people with fillers get.

On the bottom lip there is a darker area that looks swollen. Almost like product concentration. On that basis I would say lip fillers.

Well, I don't think it's obvious they have fillers. I think people are saying it's obvious because the likelihood is that you're posting these pictures because they do, and you're happy with them - so people are saying that of course they can tell, because we all know mumsnetters like to take people down a peg or two. But without the context, I don't think any of these people would have guessed.

Yes. The bottom lip looks scabbed and lumpy.

They always look that little bit swollen/puffy? Especially around the middle/cupids bow? It's more noticeable from the side, but even straight on it, you can still tell. When it's someone you know irl, who you've seen without it done, it really sticks out a mile. Each to their own I suppose though, who am I to talk with all my bits of metal, shoved through random bits of me . I don't know anyone that won't happily admit to having had it done, but they mostly don't think they look that different, or that it's as obvious as it is, or want more next time.

I would say yes, fairly obvious from the front, very obvious from the side.

In answer to your question I’d say they look quite natural - I wouldn’t of said fillers off the bat, perhaps just that tingly lip gloss stuff.

If the lips look rubbery and hard, they are more than likely enhanced with lip fillers.

I think the lips in the photo have had filler.
