@Euclid I am really sorry for your loss, but this is the second light hearted thread you have come on and blasted posters because “at least they still have a husband”. I appreciate it is hard for you to engage or empathise with others around these issues but you may find it easier if you step away from threads concerning husbands/partners.

OMG I did not expect to wake up to messages of DH hotness. Now I can't show him this thread, I'm losing the fight here. And he was definitely going for a mullet look. Now a well done Mohawk I can live with....

@euclid I'm sorry for your loss. This is light hearted, of course I love DH and all his daftness, and would miss him terribly. I hope you're doing OK today. Thanks

Many moons ago when I was fast approaching due date with DD1 my husband decided to cut his own hair. Fine, no problem he does it all the time and he wouldn't resemble Worzel Gummidge in new baby photos.

Except he got the setting wrong and choose a number 1 promptly shaving an almost bald stripe in the middle of his head then panicking because he'd done that and took off one of his eyebrows! He has dark prominent eyebrows.

So 15 minutes later I had a bald, eyebrow-less boyfriend to accompany me to hospital. I was torn between hilarity and fury!

Luckily DD1 was substantially overdue so by the time photos were being taken he resembled a man again...instead of a human snooker ball! I might have preferred a mullet Grin

I started cutting my sons hair but the clippers his dad brought round were pulling his hair so I had to stop. The back looks like a Friar Tuck. His fringe was in his eyes so he begged me to trim it.. I watched YouTube and followed the cut at an angle instructions but it still looks like a pudding bowl. Poor kid Sad

@StCharlotte

hazandduck

That picture has made my day, no - my week!

Haha I am glad it’s bringing joy to others like it did me! I honestly still keep having quivery-lip every time I think about it trying not to laugh 😆
hazandduck · 03/06/2020 09:07

@sparepantsandtoothbrush

I like it OP! It doesn't look like a mullet at all and your DH is pretty cute 😁. But as for *@hazandduck*....😂 Was he trying to do a fade?!
I honestly have no idea! I just said why is it so high?! I can’t salvage anything when it goes so high! It looks even worse today!
UncleShady · 03/06/2020 09:08

He looks like Finan from the Last Kingdom Grin That's not a bad thing.

MaidenMotherCrone · 03/06/2020 09:19

He has lovely hair Op! Excellent beard too.
I approveGrin

hazandduck that picture has made my day... I’m showing it to my dh to get him to stop.. he’s threatened a self hair cut today. He partially shaved off his lockdown beard last night and gave himself a hoagie with handle bat moustache. My 5 year cried inconsolably for half an hour when he saw him this morning... the haircut has no hope of being better.

Heed my warning, Mr Hellbentwellwent! It will NOT end well 😂 They really do need to think of the children before they act!

@KaTetof19 Human snooker ball!! Grin We've had that before too! Back when he first started doing his own hair. DS keeps saying how much he likes it. It's a conspiracy. I'm loving all these other disaster stories!!

As an aside my dad has had a moustache all his life. The reason? When I was 3 he shaved it off. Apparently I refused to speak to him until it grew back.

Matching beards front and back
