To want the supermarkets to open the fish counters again......

Sainsbury have had theirs closed since March and apparently have no plans to open it. Same as Morrisons. Our Asda doesn't have one.

I wanted monkfish. I had a choice between pathetic looking cod loins or skanky yellow haddock. Everything else was breaded.

I can't see why they can't have the counters open,

Try Sole of Discretion in Plymouth, a collective of local fishermen, or Pengelly's of Looe. Good quality fish...it's how I've been keeping my Mum supplied in lockdown. Both have websites or you can order by phone.

My nearest Sainsburys can't re-open their fresh fish/meat counter as its now the Argos Click and Collect section . Its also freezing so I pity the poor staff who have to work in that area! Never been particularly busy when I've been in though so maybe the fish will make a return
