Neighbours send rottweiler out when my asd child plays!

I really have to encourage my child to go outside. But just recently he has been going out more. Just it concerns me that nearly everytime I hear the neighbours open their back door they send the dog out which constantly barks at my child. They make no attempt to stop it and my child gets scared. I don't know why they do it as my son isn't particularly loud outside, possibly quieter than the average child. He just does do a lot of stimming with his arms. When I go outside on my own they don't send the dog out. What could I do to stop my son being scared. I also daren't approach the neighbours as they aren't the approachable type!

A dog incarcerated in it's own garden is considered to be under control...
It may be a bloody nuisance with it's constant barking, but it's not an actual danger to anybody.

This thread is like "cancel the cheque"!!!! Put up a fence or some cheaper camouflage. I very much doubt the authorities will care (certainly not at the moment) so that option could take months. As one poster said, put up something. Im afraid that you really have no option. Even if the neighbours tried to stop the dog barking, there is still the worry for you which goes away if you put up a fence (which you can do on your own boundary even if that side is theirs, also don't know what swimming is, sorry)

Stimming, not swimming (autocorrect)

Amused at the photo of (lack of) dog!

This is no longer the case. The dangerous dog act has extended to private property since 2014.

Of course it doesn't, but if the owners have allowed it to become vicious and don't give a fuck that it could attack a child very easily then it's best if the dog isn't alive

Of all the disgusting posts on Mumsnet, you've provided some of the worst. You do realise that deliberately poisoning a dog is a criminal act and you can end up with a prison sentence for it?

In the OP's situation, I would recommend writing a letter to them, using Google translate, so that you have a paper trail showing that you have tried to communicate with your neighbours. But if it doesn't lead to anything, I would report them to the RSPCA and the dog warden, as they're clearly not responsible dog owners, as has been said by numerous dog owners on the thread.

Try this :
Every time the dog barks you press the button. It worked on my neighbours dog, they used to leave it in the garden all night barking.
