I'm a shorter than average women and for the past 5 years have been obese - hovering around 13stone (I'm 5ft1). I've felt uncomfortable, my mental health has suffered as I could never seem to stick to a diet and exercise plan. In 2020 I've made a determined effort to lose weight and feel I'm finally making some progress at last.
I didn't have a good night's sleep so don't feel the best this morning just wanted to shamelessly post this to cheer myself up.

Massive well done to you, you are exactly where I want to be from 13 to 11st. I can’t wait to be 11st and am aiming to do so by Xmas

blubberball · 30/05/2020 13:14

Well done! Flowers I'm 22lbs down since New year, but I still have a long way to go. I've been stuck here for a few weeks now. I'm now trying to cut out sugar.

LockdownSlimmingQueen · 30/05/2020 13:20

Lifeisgenerallyfun · 30/05/2020 15:07

That’s fantastic -well done you.

AlpacaGoodnight · 30/05/2020 15:15

Well done! I am trying to do similar and getting there slowly, hopefully I can continue after lockdown as I find I eat much more at work and need to curb that habit!

Isthisnothing · 30/05/2020 15:48

Amazing. Well done

GinWithRosie · 30/05/2020 15:53

Congratulations OP 💪💓👍

I'm stuck! I lost 18lbs and was doing well just counting calories (1200 a day using MFP to track). I'm struggling now though!

What have all you Fab Losers used to keep on track?

dementedma · 30/05/2020 15:53

Well done you! I would like to get under 12 stone but not really trying hard enough I suppose.

HugeAckmansWife · 30/05/2020 16:15

This is great. Well done! I'm the same height as you and in the first week of the Fast800 to also creep back from the precipice of 13st. Success stories always help!

wizzler · 30/05/2020 16:47

That's fantastic. You I am aiming for something similar but 11st is still some way off

Makegoodchoices · 30/05/2020 16:55

I have 7lbs to go to get below 11 and haven’t managed it in about a year - you’ve lost lots more and that’s really impressive! Well done @LockdownSlimmingQueen !

BeatrixPottersAlterEgo · 30/05/2020 18:53

Suetty · 30/05/2020 18:58

Star I'm an inch or so taller than you and hovering around the 11stone mark after years stuck at 13.5. We can do this!!!
LockdownSlimmingQueen · 30/05/2020 19:03

Thank you for all your encouraging comments and good luck everyone!!

Amazing! I'm in a similar situation- please tell me how did you do it??

Sadie789 · 30/05/2020 19:13

I am similar stats - height, and currently just under 13 stone... I need motivation! This has helped. It is good to know it’s achievable, under 11 stone would make such a difference for me.

LockdownSlimmingQueen · 30/05/2020 19:36

NinetyNineRedBalloonsGoBy

800 calories a day and at least 1 45 minute run and sometimes immediately after the run floor exercises

LockdownSlimmingQueen · 30/05/2020 19:37

Sadie789 Go for it!!!!
I've achieved it in 6 weeks and you can too!!!

Sadie789 · 30/05/2020 19:43

@lockdownslimmingqueen when you say at least 1 45 mins run do you mean per day?

LockdownSlimmingQueen · 30/05/2020 19:44

Yes Sadie - haven't missed a day since I began!!
