I'm trying to put my kids to bed. That is all.

We have neighbouring streets doing call and respond with airhorns. It sounded extra aggressive tonight. At some point (in my area anyway) it stopped being gratitude and started being about territory marking. I half expect them to finish up by peeing on the side of their houses.

Wasn't last night meant to be the last one? God I fucking hope so. Virtue signalling tossers.

BeltaneBride · 29/05/2020 07:15

Bagpipes!!!!!!!😂

MyOwnSummer · 29/05/2020 07:54

My other half just pointed out that clap for carers sounds like we are giving them an STI. Yikes, hope not! Grin

@BeltaneBride

Bagpipes!!!!!!!😂
In their defence (I hate them), there has been a push to play them every week by various bands and pipers. One band released a tshirt.

Although, if you're not in Scotland it's fucking weird! The neighbours seem to love the damn things up here.

My dad has played his every week, my sister works for the NHS and is down south - we last saw her 3 months ago. This is a small thing he can do to show support.

At least last night was the last time. One woman drove around our estate blasting a loud klaxon thing from her car, absolute nobhead.

Washyourhands48 · 29/05/2020 10:35

Honestly OP, the world doesn’t revolve around you and your kids.

That said, I’m glad it was supposedly the last one!
