And why?

Someone I worked with in my first job in London post-uni.

She was just vile. Slagged people off as soon as they left the table. Impossibly smug, though about what I could never be sure. Made snide comments about basically everyone.

She was like butter wouldn't melt towards the bosses. People actually used to become meaner when they were around her.

She was a completely normal looking person, but because of her personality she became so ugly to me. She looks nice on pictures but I never saw her looking like that in real life - her bitterness and meanness must have shone out of her!

She was just so two-faced

A woman who used to be my manager. She took against me for no real reason and invented things to challenge me on. I took to keeping notes on all of her pep talks and went to HR who sat her down (there was CCTV in our office so she couldn't deny she'd taken me aside each time for these little 'meetings') and asked her why she'd targeted one member of the team - that if she'd had an issue with my performance why it hadn't come up and how I was the highest-attaining member of the team if I needed all of those awful digs and jibes.

She ramped it right up after that and got herself the sack when she got pissed on a works night out and sent me a shitty email from her work address - I sent it straight to HR and the Directors and she was gone. She waited outside of our offices for me that afternoon and as I walked out threatened that she was going to kill me. The Director who'd handled it called the police immediately and she ended up in so much trouble. To this day I have no idea what set her off - she was genuinely unwell I think.

My old boss. Took credit for everyone else’s work. Shoved himself forward for praise for work we had done. We all worked for a disability charity and he made my life hell due to my disability. He let me have reasonable adjustments at the start them suddenly took them all away. Made a comment about how I could possibly have a kid with my disability and look after them properly.
He was a bit fat slob of a man who never wore clothes that fit. You could see his stomach as his shirt buttons did not meet. He just strutted everywhere and boomed with his load voice over every conversation.
Little did he know that most people thought he was a huge arsehole

A deputy head of a school I worked in when I was just out of uni. It is a school for seriously learning and physically disabled children and I was a TA - she took an instant dislike to me and very much targeted me. She put me in really difficult and dangerous situations with children, would whisper snide remarks in my ear at the dinner table, spread gossip about me and just invented every opportunity she could to challenge me with the intention that I’d fail. I know now that I was not the only one - she had favourites and then those like me - and I know she still does it. I also wish I’d been less wet behind the ears and had been able to challenge her behaviour. Just a genuine bully and literally one of the nastiest people I’ve met.

Oddly the boss I had as a trainee who ended up being a criminal (he got 7 years) was delightful to work with

Has to be my manager.

She is the nastiest person I have ever known.
I truly believe she is a narcissist and a bully.

Shouts and undermines us in front of the team

constantly changes her mind and expects us know know what she wants .

Micromanages

Takes credit for our work and passes it off as her own.

Doesnt like us talking to people outside of our team and actively tries to prevent this.

only cares that she looks good in front of others.

My aunt. She reminds me of Katie Hopkins. She’s spiteful, dishonest, aggressive, racist, homophobic. . . . The list goes on.

I’ve been NC with her for 6 years. It’s brilliant.
