You call us stupid but we're not the ones out shopping for what could have been delivered, arguing with complete strangers in a shop.

It's really easy to amuse yourself and your DC outside, in this lovely weather. Stay out of shops and towns in your droves!!!!!

But if they, like you, wanted food then they, like you, would have had to go into a shop? Unless they are going to hunt squirrels or something.

Where I am (Not The UK) cafes and restaurants just reopened for table service. But you still have to keep 2m distance and wear your mask until seated. And if you don't social distance properly, officious people will tell you to in no uncertain terms. (Officious people who work there, I mean, not officious members of the public.)

YABU - although the vote box is missing - how do you really know how many of us are stupid/how do you measure stupid? Academically? Common sense?

Well OP stupidity is a relative term. We are all more or less stupid in comparison to others and the subject matter in question. You clearly consider yourself a master of shopping etiquette but are perhaps more stupid than others in other domains of life.
