To not see anything meaningful in this home security footage

Just wondering if anyone can see anything I'm missing in this home security footage. It's from a couple of years ago but what it shows has been an active debate for me and my ex-husband. Back story isn't important. Just curious as to what others see in the footage. Note: It's blurry because it's pointed towards a street light. For context, the camera is at the front door pointing into the front garden.

Interesting how

a) A camera which is normally very clear becomes very indistinct at some 'crucial' moment and

b) something so blurry and indistinct could acquire such importance.

Is he a jealous and controlling type who thinks he's found 'proof' of some kind?

Something runs off to the right near the end... I Cant decide if I can see anything arrive though...

Two figures enter the frame one after the other from the lower/mid right side of the screen and move quite rapidly towards the lighter area under the light in the middle. The first figure is bigger than the second. After about 10 seconds they cross back again towards the right hand side of the screen following the same path but this time the figures are closer together.

With no context or scale, it is difficult to say what the figures are, but they look like two people running out in the rain to whatever it is under the light and then running back again.

Thought I saw a person walking l to r at the end.

The other slight changes in the picture could be accounted for by wind moving water around on the camera lens, I'd've thought.

I just see blurry darkness. And the bright light. I'm watching on my phone so might not be v clear.

Well I'm not watching that!! Has nobody seen The Ring and what happens to the people who watch the video?

I even went & got my iPad and glasses (they're a new addition to my life) and enlarged it and I can't improve on this...

A person running R to L to the 'mass' under the light (which I would assume was another person) then later running back to the right. Given the short time I would assume drugs/stolen goods etc But a bit mad to meet under a street light!

Something running from mid screen to right near the bottom which I would assume is a fox/cat.

Very curious now.

To me it looks like two smudges (possibly animals) come from the viewer’s right go up to a smudge and then go back.

I don’t really see what could be meaningful about it unless they are really interesting animals

Ok - I don't want to keep anyone in suspense though it's not terribly exciting. Short story - I left my ex in July because he developed a delusional disorder that convinced him I was cheating on him. He is in complete denial about his disorder and we are still friends. Although we can't reconcile with this problem, I am trying to help him get his mind working properly again. On the occasions when we talk about what happened, he stops the conversation short with - "I have video evidence!' This is the video he's talking about. While I don't know the exact details of what he 'sees', from memory I do know that he sees a couple of people going for it on the pathway.
I thought it might help him to see what other people though because if I tell him that I don't see anything, he thinks I'm just trying to cover my a@#e (not literally of course).

There’s 2 figures moving towards the light (Visible at 2s and 5s). At about 21s, there’s 1 figure moving away from the light. Can’t say what the figures are other than obviously not a ghost (🙄). I would say the final figure is someone running/jogging rather than a car. Looks more staggered

A shadow moves right to left. An animal of some sort runs from the middle of the screen to the right.

@Nannewnannew if you scrub the footage back and forth (ie drag the time bar, google if you’re confused) you can see the movement in the light

It's ridiculous to even be humouring you're ex with this "footage". Chuck it in the bin and move on with your life

Why would people be having sex in the dark and the rain on a patio???!!! Doesn't sound v comfortable!!!

There is some sort of blob below the light which could be moving. A figure goes from right to left at around 5 sec and a figure goes from left to right at 25 sec.

Honestly, if this is the best you can get out of a Ring doorbell then I wont be buying one!

If he's been diagnosed with a delusional disorder, he'll see 'evidence' everywhere and you won't change his mind.

I saw a small animal moving. At best.

Don't put up with his paranoia. Don't humour it.

There's something moving, that's all I see.
