Year 6?

TheVanguardSix · 20/05/2020 23:48

year 5/6?

coco123456789 · 20/05/2020 23:48

Year 4 I would say, that’s the sort of thing DD gets. You’re going to shock us now and say year 1 aren’t you?!

Bunnybigears · 20/05/2020 23:49

DS has been doing similar questions this week he is year 5.

TheVanguardSix · 20/05/2020 23:49

CD-ROMS? What are those? Grin It's a bit like showing kids a rotary phone.

SierraHotel · 20/05/2020 23:49

I'm saying year 4. My dd is year 5 and I'm sure she had similar questions last year.

ouch321 · 20/05/2020 23:50

That looks like a weird mish mash of year groups to me

DarkenedTimes · 20/05/2020 23:50

Any clue about primary or secondary? Most of it looks like year 6.

Myneighboursnorlax · 20/05/2020 23:51

Year 4/5

mapsie · 20/05/2020 23:51

I'm sure someone will be around in a minute to state their child does that in reception.

Halo1234 · 20/05/2020 23:51

Agree some questions look a lot easier than others

ginnybag · 20/05/2020 23:51

Year 4, early year 5.

Or around age 9.

xyzandabc · 20/05/2020 23:52

I'd say more able year 5 or 6. But in the 1st part questions 5,6 and 12 don't make any sense, and I don't know what a mixed number is for q 15 and I'm fairly decent at maths.

InterestingIris · 20/05/2020 23:52

I’d say Y5 on average.

DelphiniumBlue · 20/05/2020 23:53

Some of the questions don't make sense, for example " write 620 as a percentage ".
Where did the paper come from?

InterestingIris · 20/05/2020 23:53

And thought the same as pp, some questions are unanswerable.

Write 620 as a percentage?

xyzandabc · 20/05/2020 23:54

Saying that, I know some yr 6s that would struggle with a lot of those and some years 3s that could do some of them.

Quartz2208 · 20/05/2020 23:55

yr 4/5

Pinkflipflop85 · 20/05/2020 23:55

A mixed number has an integer and a fraction

VashtaNerada · 20/05/2020 23:55

A lot of this could easily come up in DS’s homework (Y3) but not all of it, and I certainly wouldn’t expect him to sit down and do this many questions in one go without some visual aids. Y4 maybe?

DarkenedTimes · 20/05/2020 23:56

A mixed number is an integer and a fraction isn't it? You could do it, but it's artificial. It is a mixed bag, which itself points to yr6. 21(squared) divided 14 is a bit nasty I thought.

Hex2020 · 20/05/2020 23:58

I stopped reading at 620 as a percentage Confused

xyzandabc · 20/05/2020 23:58

Pinkflipflop85

A mixed number has an integer and a fraction

So how do you write 234 as a mixed number ???

VashtaNerada · 20/05/2020 23:58

Looking at it more closely it can’t be Y4! It’s a weird mix. What’s the answer??

AlwaysTimeForWine · 20/05/2020 23:58

I'd say Year 5 as my DD in Yr 5 has more complicated questions than this, and some are fairly simple so it would make me think Year 4. Maybe even Year 3 if working at greater depth.

It does seem a fairly broad array of questions though as there are quite a few that my Yr 5 would struggle with (although she's not strong at maths) and some quite simple ones.
