That the FB avatar things make me feel stabby?

Just that. We are not 14, we are grown-ups, do we really need smiley fake faced avatars peeking in sideways exclaiming 'Hi' to announce our presence. Make me fucking cringe, shudder. (I am very grumpy today).

I don't like them either, I'm yet to see one that looks like the person it's supposed to be.

I did one but I made it fat and not that flattering. ( realistic) I Got two likes and it only lasted a day! It was just a bit of fun to while away a lockdown 10 minutes. I don't usually partake in anything on Facebook normally.
There isn't much on tv at the moment and people are bored too 😂

I removed over 300 Facebook friends yesterday. I also unfollow anyone who posts those 10 albums things. Most invigorating.

I was given 10 best vinyl albums of your teens - cue lots of cheesy pop and angst ridden teen dirge, then it changed to any album so mine now make me look naff and everyone else look like they are supercool. This gives me the rage

I’ve got so much rage for everything bubbling under the surface that I’m beginning to think I should come off FB for a while before I blow my stack at someones innocent picture of their sunny riverside bike ride

Completely agree, OP. They're fucking irritating. Nobody tags me in shitty things any more, as I refuse to do any of it, untag myself and tell them not to do it again. I have a fucking life.

I was clever with the albums choices thing on Fb as husband wanted to do it and he knows I know more about music than he does so I chose them and he put them up !
We really should get out more .. oh wait .

My friend did a spoof one that was funny : where she got some of her pictures from I don't know. She hates all these things too.
Some people did take it very seriously though! Facebook makes me laugh but I do understand the hate for it at times. SOB ( scroll on by) people.

I basically want to see pictures of your dogs. That's all. And very interesting articles that people post.

My pet hate is when someone posts asking their friends to do something and includes the phrase “I know the ones who will...”

The mental health posts make me feel bad as the ones that post them usually do not give a shit in real life about anyone but themselves!

I don’t get the point of them.

I did it for fun and enjoyed scrolling through the selections.

The options are all way too pleasant-looking, but i did actually feel quite comforted choosing a 'plump' body type.

I would like even more realistic options, to be honest. Choosing something even more relevant would be quite liberating I think.

The “I know who will do this” really pisses me off too! As does “no explanations, no reviews”. What’s the fucking point then.

The nominations to swallow a raw egg, spoonful of sugar then a shot of alcohol.. Puke inducing and hard to avoid when they pop up on your newsfeed.

Cringe , as in the “10 days, 10 photos, no explanations” bollocks. The whole “no explanations” shit drives me mental! Nobody cares about your ugly baby or the fact you bought a REM album once!
