Can anyone recognise this rash? Have had a look online and I suspect it’s heat rash but can’t say for definite. Anxious about the Kawasaki stories Sad

It’s all over her back and legs, she had a big scream in the shower and again when I put aveeno cream her. She winces when I touch it now too!

Help please Sad

Call 111.

Aquamarine1029 · 18/05/2020 20:38

You need to call 111 immediately.

rossKemp · 18/05/2020 20:38

111, now

Tigersneeze · 18/05/2020 20:39

111

Beach11 · 18/05/2020 20:40

Call 111 op, it could be a viral rash but needs checking out.
Does dc have a temp?

Alice12070 · 18/05/2020 20:40

Call 111

sauvignonblancplz · 18/05/2020 20:40

Oh gosh poor thing- I agree 111.
Has she been unwell in any other way? Is her skin normally quite sensitive ?

chatterbugmegastar · 18/05/2020 20:41

I hope she's ok Thanks

mintchick · 18/05/2020 20:42

111 op now. Hope she's ok. Let us know.

WrongKindOfFace · 18/05/2020 20:44

Back of the legs as in the photo is probably heat rash but give 111 a ring and ask their advice?

CoachBombay · 18/05/2020 20:44

111 call.

Does it fade under a glass tumbler?
Does she have a fever?

Bluebunny123 · 18/05/2020 20:44

Definitely ring 111 for advice

CuppaTea86 · 18/05/2020 20:44

Poor thing.
Has she been spending time in a warm water paddling pool or hot tub? Thinking maybe hot tub folliculitis.

TheHobbitMum · 18/05/2020 20:45

Call 111 now, after seeing a friends little one transferred to icu with Kawasaki it's not worth taking any chances.
Hopefully it'll be nothing much but you need to make sure

HowFurloughCanYouGo · 18/05/2020 20:46

Heat rash or urticaria is excruciating when you put heat on it. She would indeed scream the place down in the shower.

HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend · 18/05/2020 20:46

I’d take her to A&E, you never take the risk with children as they deteriorate very fast, you don’t need to call 111.

Personally wouldn’t call 111, I find the service a waste of space and money, anyone can read from a script.

Hope it’s nothing OP and take care.

sauvignonblancplz · 18/05/2020 20:47

@HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend I would agree with you .

Pieceofpurplesky · 18/05/2020 20:48

If she is wincing to touch and it hurt her to shower I would go straight to a&e

RochelleGoyle · 18/05/2020 20:48

It looks like heat rash but if you're unsure don't risk it. Hope it proves to be nothing more than that.

Winter2019 · 18/05/2020 20:50

What did it turn out to be? Hope she's ok!

Sassenach85 · 18/05/2020 20:50

Has she any other symptoms?

inwood · 18/05/2020 20:50

I think it looks like heat rash too but I am in no way a medic. I had to take one of mine to a and e last week, we were in and out within 45 minutes. We were practically the only ones there.

Phifedean123 · 18/05/2020 20:52

It does look like heat rash but I would absolutely have it looked at especially if she's in a lot of pain from it. I'd also go straight to A&E with her. Really hoping it's nothing and she's okay Flowers

DamnYankee · 18/05/2020 20:54

Not a medical professional, but looks like heat rash or a contact rash. Has she been rolling in the grass? My son had this reaction. Very upset with me for putting him in the shower and then hydrocortisone cream.
My daughter has gotten a viral rash before, but no indication of discomfort in those instances.

InglouriousBasterd · 18/05/2020 20:58

It does look like heat rash but I’d take her now to get checked tbh. You’ll only be panicking otherwise Flowers
