To ask whether anyone has made a complaint about police and had a positive outcome?

I've made a complaint against police and bodycams were not turned on for the first half of the encounter (I was not aware of this until I made the complaint). It's now with the Professional Standards something or another but they're very very slow to act. Last I heard was two weeks ago and I emailed yesterday and was informed this morning that I will receive an update every 28 days. Is this bloody acceptable?

Anyway, I said I would leave you to your rant and yet I came back.

After 18 years in the police I’m as far from sensitive as you can get. My point is you have people on your thread that are professionally involved in the area you are asking about and you are disregarding what they can say but are only happy to listen to the negative comments.

You have the choice of getting helpful, realistic opinions or just anti police sentiment. It’s your choice.

How do you know what I've disregarded or taken heed of. I've read all the responses.
