I have a signed copy of "Parliament of Whores" from when he gave a talk at Waterstones, Charing X road in the early 90s (just before he flew to Baghdad I think). He was plugging "Give War A Chance".

The idea that things are changing more slowly in education in NI is not strictly accurate. We have had an integrated education movement for a very long time, most integrated schools are vastly oversubscribed and outside of officially integrated schools parents and children are choosing schools on educational attainment rather than religion. With the result that some schools have a majority of 'the other' religion and many others have a significant minority, in both types of school.
