I have twins due 27 June, so I don't want my daughter socialising with others then coming home to the newborns. Is anyone else not sending their child back. Most mums on the class Whatsapp group are sending theirs back, AIBU?

He better get an OBE minimum. The best of the bunch.

I don’t really see the point of sending year 6 DS back. Yes, it’d be nice for him to see his friends, it we’ll meet up with his close friends when we’re able to anyway and 7 weeks of transition, when more transition activities aren’t able to happen seems like a waste of time when he could be home learning! If the rest of his class go back, I will send him though.

Not sure. DC is at college and doing all their lessons on Zoom. I'm shielding. Tough decision.

One of mine will be going back. I’m a key worker but haven’t utilised the place as H was furloughed. He’s now going back so primary aged DC will return to school. Secondary age DC goes to a school 25 miles away and his bus isn’t running yet so he will be staying at home as we have no way of getting him to and from school each day around my shifts.

There hasn't been any social distancing at my kids school, luckily they haven't had to go in but my friend had to send her daughter.
