Toast toppers and those baked chicken and chips snacks! Sure many of you can add or fondly reminisce about treats or certain foodstuffs from the dark and distant past.

@laaalaala I’ve seen tins of Goblins at my Tesco! Was looking for tins to send to my mum and spotted them. Took me back.... they were right next to the Fray Bentos pies( which I suddenly craved, bought, cooked and reminisced over!)

TheTrollFairy · 12/05/2020 21:59

I miss flake snow bars (I always thought they were called snowflake but I googled it and it wasn’t)
Also, does anyone remember the monster munch that turned your tongue blue? I’m early 30s and used to eat them in year 7 or 8 at school.
Prawn cocktail wotsits were amazing!

ladymary86 · 12/05/2020 22:07

Prawn cocktail quavers

Boopeedoop · 12/05/2020 22:13

Maverick bars. My pregnancy craving 21 years ago. Luckily my sister's then boyfriend worked in the factory!

Beautiful3 · 12/05/2020 22:14

@namechangenumber2 drifters?

Franticbutterfly · 12/05/2020 22:16

Burtons potato puff. What I wouldn't give for a pack of those now.

SerenDippitty · 12/05/2020 22:19

Birds Eye potato waffles used to come in cheese flavour. I miss those.

potter07 · 12/05/2020 22:22

I'd forgot about flipper dippers! They were amazing! Also another one has just come to mind, Milkybar Choo! God I miss them.

maras2 · 12/05/2020 22:25

Anyone remember Cremola?

userxx · 12/05/2020 22:33

@SerenDippitty My mum and dad used to put those out as appetisers at dinner parties, I used to steal them on the sly. Bloody lovely.

Vinipote · 12/05/2020 22:33

Creamola soluble granules that made a fizzy-ish drink.

Campino sweets
Frosties sweets

DoctorTwo · 12/05/2020 22:36

I'll risk it for a Swisskit.

Alarae · 12/05/2020 22:37

BBQ Walkers crisps (Black packet), the original ones not the god awful ones they replaced them with (BBQ Rib).

You can still buy them abroad but for some reason they were discontinued in this country. I always bring back as much as I can get away with. My sister is as obsessed as I am!

YouTheCat · 12/05/2020 22:38

Spangles. I'm sure they were responsible for my first cavity.

Snowballtorch · 12/05/2020 22:49

Biscuit Vienetta!

Willowmartha1 · 12/05/2020 23:14

Sainsbury's cheese buttons yes!! I'd forgotten about those loved them, also the packs of nonsuch Brazil nut toffees also from Sainsbury's.

MiddleClassProblem · 13/05/2020 10:01

Those koala biscuits with chocolate in the middle and cartoonies. The former you can still get in import ships though. Just really expensive.

MiddleClassProblem · 13/05/2020 10:10

Oh and those M&M biscuits like Twix tops

Haenow · 13/05/2020 10:45

Yes! Orange Aeros. :) Not a snack but I’m still not over losing turkey twizzlers. Gutted.

FuckThisWind · 13/05/2020 12:35

MiddleClassProblem You can get those biscuits quite often in Herons really cheap. Though I think they are usually Panda ones.

And the M&M biscuit bar - Aldi do a dead ringer.

Bluesheep8 · 13/05/2020 13:08

Aldi sell Tangy Toms
You can still get Snapsfrim many convenience stores and Sandwich spread is in most supermarkets.

Zisforstripyoss · 13/05/2020 13:11

@namechangenumber2 from page 1 - the Aldi orange bubbly bar is nicer than orange aeros!
