To ask you how you feel when you first wake up in the morning?

Lately, I've been feeling groggy when I first wake up. My stomach aches and I almost feel a bit flat. All my 'issues" and 'problems' race through my head, and I feel a bit of anti climax. I get better as the morning goes on. But I've been waking up with an odd sense of dread. I am locked down with ex-dp because of th children which could be a cause of it. How do you feel when you first wake up?

@LaPampa I'm both sad and relieved it's not just me! I know part of it is that I'm a proper night owl, so it got a bit better when I went self employed a couple of years ago, and in some ways better still in lockdown as I can go to bed and get up when my body wants to (no kids, just purry cats who can be fed and then I can go back to bed!)

But - it doesn't matter how much, how good or when I sleep, I never feel properly refreshed. I'm usually ok after I've been awake a couple of hours. Maybe I need to learn to drink coffee?!

I think eating too much wheat does not seem to help me either. Yesterday I cut it out an on the advice of a poster ate less late in the evening. This morning I felt slightly better.
