Would you report a neighbour for this?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this and I don't even know if it's allowed to be honest.

Would you report a neighbour for smoking cannabis in their garden?

A couple live next door to us and smoke cannabis everyday. I haven't reported them and I won't but I just wondered, would you?

If yes, why?
If no, why?

I'll begin, I won't because it doesn't really bother me. They don't create any noise, it's only once a day and I'm happy minding my own business. They also happen to be nice people who we get along with

So we just allow the supply and demand of an illegal drug to carry on next door - great.

My neighbours do they can do as they please but I wish they wouldnt when me and the kids are out there. Were not out there long maybe an hour as i cant stand being in the sun too long.

You always think people will have some decency but they dont.

not a chance id report this..incessantly barking dogs,now thats a nightmare to tolerate when you're enjoying a quiet smoke out the back..

Don't report them, leave the happy weed smokers alone. I bet weed smokers never report anyone,they are usually chilled out and happy.

The smells annoying but I’d much rather have a stoner neighbour than a party animal doing coke or boozy parties.

Not at all. For the same reasons as you.
If rather live next door to a couple that have a joint once a day than a couple who get pissed and are really loud any day of the week

Instead of reporting, I'd ask them to smoke in their shed/end of garden/later at night.

Not at the moment obviously, social distancing and all that, but in the normal way.....

I have no problem with it. I’d rather smell weed than proper fags, now there’s a disgusting smell. I also don’t really care what my neighbours are doing in their own garden.

It's their garden, they can do what they like

My neighbour does it all the time but much as I can't stand the smell I wouldn't report her. When the smell was coming through my walls I had a quiet word with her and that's stopped so she can get on with it now.

We smoke in our back garden, we only go out when its quiet and no one is in their garden or has washing out etc. I'd be so upset if our neighbours reported to us, we're nice people and not unreasonable so if anyone was to have a word with us to say they had a problem with it we'd start smoking in the shed or go off for a walk out on the moors or something. I only smoke it because it stops me having night terrors all the time not because I'm a monster.
