So not the usual glossybox/ craft gin / Gousto ... I'm looking for something unusual that I may not have heard of before

For info, I subscribe to Leaf Envy, Bumboo and I receive various beauty boxes as part of my job so get all those.

So.. what is out there I may not be aware of?

Ben Cameron does an amazing pin badge subscription www.pinbadgeclub.com/

I got my hubby Flaming Licks chilli subscription for Christmas. Really tasty chilli sauces for different recipes. 😋

Sonineties · 05/05/2020 22:23

Toucanbox (kids crafts)
Bookabees (kids books)
Freddie’s Flowers

I also used to subscribe to a service where they would send you a slice of cake in the post every month. I don’t think they are still going but Sponge.co.uk do subscriptions where they will send you a whole cake every month. Maybe I will start that again...

BarbedBloom · 05/05/2020 22:35

@FelicityFlockheart What is Leaf Envy like? It is cheaper than the other subscription service I was thinking about. Am really interested but not sure what plants they send out.

Littlepond · 05/05/2020 22:41

We get Who Gives a Crap loo roll and Smol laundry and dishwasher detergent. I get a beauty box from Latest In Beauty, and thanks to MN recently signed up to Pyjama Drama! My daughter gets a Little Cooks co box. We used to get Weekend Boxes when the kids were littler - great stuff in the boxes but not great customer service...

I signed up to MyGeekBox for DH but it never arrived. We also get Craft Gin Club and a wine subscription from Laithwaites.

FelicityFlockheart · 05/05/2020 22:42

@BarbedBloom it's really good. You get unusual plants and they're a nice surprise. Always come packaged beautifully with a care card etc

The owner of the brand is really nice too and welcomes any questions.

Alternatively, buy the plants as and when you want. You tend to get more exclusive subscriber only ones though by signing up

It's just a nice thing to receive I think and the subscription gradually increases in plant care difficulty!
